Less Time Wasted:

Caddy moves quickly and lifts operators and materials, positioning them to the desired height. The innovative loading platform can carry up to 90 Kg and is adjusted electrically by simply pressing a button on the machine. Once the packs are positioned on the CADDY, the operator is not obligated to dismount, push the ladder or move on foot. Furthermore, more material can be loaded on the platform in the front, up to a maximum of 113 Kg, keeping having to go back and forth across the interior of the warevhouses to a minimum. With a full load the Caddy battery can move for 30 Km! In a few seconds Caddy is ready to work, without having to prepare or configure. The worker turns the machine on and heads, at a speed of 95 mt/min, for the place where he loads the material. If he wants to, he can start right off raising himself up while he moves at the same time. The gear speed is automatically reduced according to the height of the machine. .

Safety regulations are clear about the matter of the manual moving of loads. The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work considers a load 25-30 Kg as potentially too heavy for most people to lift (Osha Fact Sheet 73). It is thus easy to imagine how high the risks are if the load is not just moved but has to be carried up a ladder by hand. With traditional methods, therefore, the job must be done by two people, but the risks of injury connected to the transport and to the falling of the material are not lessened.

Using Caddy simplifies all those operations which can be potentially dangerous for the worker.
For some time, the International Organisations for Safety at Work have already centred their campaigns on the risks tied to working at elevated heights without using suitable equipment. Re-cently, attention has also been directed at preventing the risks deriving from the Manual Move-ment of Loads (MML). The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work 2007 Campaign is just one example.

Using Caddy means eliminating the possible risks of injuries caused by: Manual movement of goods Frequent Movements of bending and rotating the body trunk Heavy physical work Assuming risky, painful or tiring postures to recover objects which are difficult to reach and often too heavy. Loss of balance, slipping, objects falling from overhead. Manually moving loads can be the cause of : cumulative ailments owing to the gradual built up use of the Muscular-skeletal ap-paratus due to continuous lifting or moving operations (for example, dorsal, lumbar pains); acute traumas such as wounds or fractures following injuries. Back pain is one of the main referred professional ailments in the European Union (23.8 %); The load The risk of dorsal-lumbar lesions is increased if : too heavy: there is no exact weight that can be considered safe: a weight of 20-25 kg can be too heavy to lift for most people; too big: if the load is awkward, it can be impossible with respect to the basic rules for lifting and carrying, namely, holding the load as close to the body as possible; so the musculature tires more rapidly; difficult to grasp: the consequence can be an accident caused by the load slipping from the hand; loads with sharp edges or containing dangerous materials can injure workers; unstable or imbalanced: what is considered an overload on certain muscles is strain, given that the centre of gravity of the load is distant from the workers body; difficult to reach: the fact of having to stretch the arms or bend or rotate the bodys trunk to reach a load implies a major muscular force; the shape or dimensions are such as to impede the workers vision: in this case the possibilities that the pack might slip or fall out of the hands, or the worker might fall or bump into someone or something increase.

Material tray electrically regulatable by an easy button on board the machine Loading platform at maximum height corresponds to the column. It is very easy to place even heavy packs, using the column as the setting base and letting it slide up to the material tray.

Safety position with double sensor pedal allowance On the raising platform there are two pedal operated allowance switches, activated with the heels, which guarantee the stable position of the operator without limiting comfort. By removing one foot from the two switches, all the operating functions for raising/lowering the machine are automatically disabled. These safety devices serve to guarantee the stable position of the operator, with both hands on the controls before these become activated

Left Hand Sensor to activate the functions. The left hand has to be positioned on the handle, in front of the sensor, to allow activation of the shifting/raising/lowering of the machine.

All the functions are activatable without having to move the hand from the accelerator, for maximum operator comfort. Acceleration of forward/backward movement is proportional and positioned near the basket raising and lowering button, to enable these movements even during forward movement. Warning signal for the battery charge status on board the machine. Buttons to regulate the height of the loading pla-tform at thumbs reach!

Ground Controls: The ground control panel is a highly technological device, equipped with an efficient system of automatic diagnostic control, which can detect any anomaly or malfunction happening on the vehicle. Errors can be caused by a malfunctioning of the machine or by a condition in the work area. Usually the operator can correct these breakdowns, without having to have the machine repaired by a qualified mechanic.
