iView:Talicud Island’s ISLA RETA
Definitely a sublimely breath taking patch of white stretch under the green canopy of Talisay trees
that simply vacuums you to CHILL and forget the life at the other side of the island. Isolated in an
island with an ample amount of civilization, a lot of space, crispy salty air and cool water, we feel it
is our own private oasis. The reason we’ve been going there religiously for it captured our awe ‐‐
effortlessly charming! Purely SIMPLE.
Nevertheless, it's our share of heaven in this world.
ISLA RETA definitely ROCKS!!!

R
ica and Juan desire your comfortable and memorable stay in their beloved City in Bloom
and Land of Promise, DAVAO CITY – enjoying a wide array of diverse cultures and
abundant heritage located at the southern part of the world renowned – Pearl of the
Orient, the Philippines.
Davao’s topography dazzles with a variety of picturesque landscapes. Fruit plantations and orchid farms
mantle volcano-fed hills and valleys. Virgin forests nurture rare wildlife. Coral islands lie on mirror flat water.
And the country’s highest peak, Mt. Apo, magnificently lords over the hinterland.
Just as enchanting is its brilliant tapestry of harmony, woven from the diverse cultural threads of its people.
In Davao, the contemporary fuses with the traditional as migrant settlers from all over the country peacefully
co-exist with a sizeable expatriate community and numerous ethnic tribes who continue to live as they did
centuries ago.
Davao is home to the majestic Philippine Eagle, the country’s national bird and considered the largest eagle in the world. It also boasts of the most
prized Philippine orchid species like the Vanda sanderiana and some of the most exotic fruits like durian and mangosteen.
Davao is an anchor tourist destination, a natural haven for both sedate and daring pursuits. It is the jump-off point to satellite destinations on the
island of Mindanao. MADAYAW! 1

MORE TIPS ABOUT DAVAO
___________________________________________________________________________
The Davao metropolis rarely enjoys congested paralyzed traffic for hours and exit toll way traffics.
Slight congestion of vehicles in the main streets and intersections are only present during rush hours of regular working days.
Luckily, you can go around Davao without worrying of security and safety by taking the public transportation – public utility vehicles or the
public jeeps. Air-conditioned taxicabs flag down at Php 30.00 and meter charge of Php 2.50 every 150-200 meters. Non air-conditioned
taxicabs flag down at Php 26.00 and meter charge of Php1.00 every 150-200 meters.
We highly recommend you take the top 4 taxicab companies in Davao namely,
Holiday taxi, Maligaya taxi and mabuhay taxi or the BLUE CAB. With their courteous taxicab drivers, they are not only accustomed to
GREET their passengers but also, give your change even with the single peso.
But if you prefer to rent a car, we highly suggest these Car Rental Agencies:
