REGISTRATION HOW TO REGISTER You can register online for your nearest Festival For Stars Local Heat and Semi Finals. Help for Completing the Online Registration Form Enter your email address - this will be used for confirming your registration. Contact and Details: Enter the required information. Team Name: Enter the name of your act or team? Select your event and Age Category No. of Dancers: Enter the number of dancers. Fees: Select the number of dancers you wish to enter to see the corresponding fee. Read our section on Fees Dancers Details: Enter the Name / Surname / Age / Date Of Birth for each dancer Chaperone Fees: Select the number of chaperones to see the corresponding fee. Chaperones Full Names: enter the full name for each chaperone. Music: Enter the track and artist name for the music that you will be using for your routine. Tickets: Select the number of Tickets that you wish to purchase - we may have special offers from time to time. You will then see a summary of your information. If you want to change any of the details press the back button, if you are happy with your information click on Confirm and Proceed with Payment. You will automatically receive confirmation of your registration by email. Payment: You will see the balance due and the invoice number for your registration. Click to pay online and select your method of payment. You will automatically receive confirmation of your payment by email.

Deposits: 25% non-refundable deposits are required for a guaranteed entry Chaperones fees: 5 per person up to 1 chaperone per 5 dancers. Terms apply. Entry fee to the finals: FREE for all Semi Finalist entrant winners. Terms apply. Early Bird entrance before 9th March 2013 : 1/3 off all Prices. Please note that fees may be subject to change and may be updated on our website accordingly. Please read the section regarding methods of payment as processing and administration charges may be added to your registration fee.

PURCHASING PHOTOGRAPHS There may be a professional photographer taking portfolio and entrant(s) photos of the dancers on stage. Each dance element is divided into two categories: Choreography (Creative Choreography 10 points & Overall Presentation 10 points) Team Work (Innovation 10 points & Group Dynamics 10 points) Performance (Musicality 10 points & Enthusiasm 10 points)

* The top winning finalist from each Category receives 100 worth of dance or singing training with some of the most prestigious dance and vocal coaches in the UK. Terms and Conditions apply. AWARD CEREMONY At the end of the competition there will be an award ceremony. Each entrant(s) is allowed a maximum number of representatives (to be confirmed on the day) to go on stage, to collect the prize. In preparation for this, the guardian /group leader should select their representatives for the award ceremony prior to arrival. EVENT DAY PROCEDURE AND SCHEDULE INSTRUCTIONS ON ARRIVAL AT THE EVENT 1. Please register your attendance with Festival For Stars staff. 2. Please bring the final name list of all participants and accompanying adults and inform us of any changes in the list of participants submitted. 3. Collect info pack or wrist band or passes for all in your party this will allow access to stage areas. 4. Hand in CDs. The CD has to be clearly labeled with the entry name and have only one track. 5. Collect Instruction/Info package, which includes allocated seating areas for each. In some occasions we may give you numbered tickets for each member of your group. A maximum of 3 headsets and 3 wireless microphones are available per routine. PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE The Performance Schedule has been constructed by Festival For Stars, a copy of which will be provided for each entrant(s)prior to the competition. Entrant(s) are listed for competition in alphabetical order. ALLOCATED SEATING FOR GROUPS (Semi-Finals) Participants will be given designated seats and must stay in this area at all times. Ushers and the Stage Manager will inform each entrant(s) about their timing, entrances and exits. GENERAL INFORMATION DISCIPLINE AND CONDUCT Festival For Stars will not deal with issues of discipline as it is the Chaperone/ group leaders responsibility. We expect no less than an excellent behaviour from all the participants and other people involved in this event. Orderly manners and support of and by all participants is expected. Entrants are to follow instructions from event staff during the day. Any unreasonable behaviour will not be tolerated and this may result in the suspension from the competition of the person/s responsible.
CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION a) A minimum of 6 weeks notice should the entrant(s) wish to cancel the performance(s). Cancellation with less than 6 weeks notice will render the entrant(s) liable to pay the full registration fee if the company is unable to secure a replacement booking. b) If the Company needs to cancel the heat/semi-final a mutually agreed alternative place/date for the event(s) will be offered to the entrant(s). c) Only the core registration fee will be refunded. The refund will exclude any credit card payment fees, postage, or bank charges incurred during your transaction. Entrants are solely responsible for ensuring they appear at the designated venue on time for all performances. 1. The judges decision is final on the day of the competition. 2. Dangerous props such as fire, swords, and knives are strictly prohibited. No form of liquid gel, aerosol, glitter may be used that can adversely affect the dancing surface or staging area. 3. We advise that you make your own risk assessment. 4. Entries will only be accepted if relevant entry form is fully completed (including names and ages of all participants). 5. Festival For Stars will not be held responsible for the quality or poor production of music recordings and has no liability or responsibility to find alternative or replacement backing tracks for the competitors. 6. Music must not include any actual explicit lyrics. Music must not feature any actual or implied adult or offensive themes. All dancers must be aware of the lyrics in the music they use. 7. Principals are required to bring 2 copies of all music themselves as backup to the event. 8. Groups or individuals will be disqualified if they are found to be in the incorrect age group or have entered into multiple age groups. 9. Points may be deducted for exceeding time limits. 10. Groups or individuals will be disqualified if routines excessively overrun the maximum allowed time limits. 11. Any abuse of fellow competitors or threatening behaviour towards Festival For Stars employees or authorised partners will terminate the entrants opportunity to perform in the event or any future events. Foul language at any event will not be tolerated. Any perpetrators will be asked to leave the event premises. 12. All entrants under the age of 16 years must be chaperoned by a nominated responsible adult at events. The chaperone will be accountable for the behaviour and welfare of the minors in his/her charge. 13. By entering all contestants grant their permission to Festival For Stars and authorised partners to use their photographs and /or videos in connection with advertising, TV, website, news coverage and social media marketing. The use of cameras and/or mobile phones to photograph and film the event are strictly prohibited. 14. Entries will be accepted on a first come, first served basis and will be limited to the amount of performance time available. Festival For Stars also bears the right to refuse entries at their discretion. 15. Festival For Stars reserves the right to change any venue or times at short notice. Wherever possible Festival For Stars will endeavour to inform the competitor in advance of such changes but cannot be held responsible should this not be possible. 16. You have to bring the same dance piece you had at your Local Event. 17. You cannot increase the number of dancers in your team. 18. If your numbers or group members change between now and the finals at any point, get in touch with us as soon as possible.
