Job Description: Take charge of civil construction activities of the designated areas, as assigned by the Construction Manager. Site Execution including building, ancillary structure (Including Underground water tank, Sewage treatment plant, AC plant), road work, external services work etc Plan weekly and daily project activities in consonance with the overall project schedule and keep the concerned personnel informed of the same. Also do the work planning, manpower planning, machinery and material planning required for the assigned work. Participate in site coordination meetings and coordinate with other team members. Hold daily meetings with the concerned contractors, review their daily plans and monitor manpower / equipment deployment. Give the weekly and daily target to supervisors and contractors who work under me and make sure they do as per planning to achieve the target. Supervise the daily works done for quality and timeliness; ensure adoption of proper work procedures by the concerned contractors. Proper checking of all drawing of area which handled by me and discuss it with client and consultant and raise the RFI if there is something for correction. Give the proper feedback to client and consultant of their query and problems through mail or proper documents. Prepare of all concerned contractors bills including prepare running bills and prepare bills for Subcontractors. Keep a keen eye on safety aspects and their proper follow-up by the concerned contractors. Bring deviations to the knowledge of Safety Officer, if specifically appointed at site; if not, perform the additional role of Safety Officer for the concerned trade also. Identify snags / defective works and ensure rectification of the same. Keep the Construction Manager informed and up to date on all site activities.
