    Yes, the Franklin County School has formed a Girls Golf Team! On Thursday, Sept. 5, our FCS Girls will play at Hilamin Golf Course in Tallahassee at 3:00pm. Their opponents will be Lincoln High School, FLA High, & Wakulla.

    MTSS: The Team Study meetings will be every Tuesday. See Patty Creamer in the library for the sign-up sheet. Staff Informational Meeting: Wed, Sept. 4, in cafeteria @ 2:20pm. Dottie Thornburg will have info on
    school supplies. Jamie Myers from Edward Jones Investors will have info on DROP & additional investment plans. Sandi Hengle will have info on Homeless Assistance.

    Staff- Jean Christie, AXA Rep.: Tues, Sept. 10, Ms. Christie will be at the District Office from 8:00amnoon and in the library at the FCS campus from 12:30-4:00pm to assist with info on DROP & retirement investments.

    **The Federal McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act states that children & youth who lack a fixed, regular, & adequate nighttime residence are considered homeless. If, due to a loss of housing, a child must live in a shelter, motel, vehicle, campground, on the street, in abandoned buildings, or doubled-up with relatives or friends, then he/she is eligible to receive services provided under the McKinney-Vento Act.     GED INFO The next GED Test will be given Sept. 23 & 24 at the Franklin County School library at 6:00pm. To register for the test or for classes, contact Maxine Creamer @ 670-4481. The Franklin County Adult Education Courses do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, National origin, age, handicap, or marital status.
