Galatians 5:22-23...But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Matthew 7:15....Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Matthew 12:33...Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. Luke 6:43-45...For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes. 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. There's a treasure in you...it's like a trust of hidden treasures.. Either a treasure of good or evil .... Pastor to tell us how to utilize the good treasure To multiply your good treasure is through the word of God. It makes the deposit in our hearts.
2.0 FROM WHOM DO THE FRUITS ORIGINATE? WHERE DO THEY COME FROM?
John 15:4-5...Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that
abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Answer: Jesus Philippians 1:11...Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. Colossians 1:4-6...Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints, 5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel; 6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:.
4.0 WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT EXPRESSIONS OF THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT IN SCRIPTURES?
1.) Fruits or fruit 2.) Good fruits ...James 3:17 3.) Fruits of righteousness ..in Isaiah we are called fruit of rightness Isaiah 61:3 Galatians 5:22 the Spirit here doesnt refer to the Holy Spirit cause he doesn't bear fruits. So it is referred to as the fruit of the recreated human spirit. The capacity to produce the fruit listed in Galatians has been given to all Christians. 4.) Works or deeds....don't over stretch this because it can also refer to other terms...depending on the context...It is refer to as fruits when these are actions that comes from your spirit.... For example pastor gives someone a box of chocolates ...his work will be that he gave someone a box of chocolate...that will be referred to as a "good work" but it was a deed or a work of kindness and kindness is from his spirit....it's an action in this context....
Galatians 5:22-23 John 15:1, 5 Ans: The Christian bears the fruit that originates from Christ through His Word.
You dont have a job? Make one.... Acts 26:19-20...Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: 20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance. John 15:8...Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples...16...Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. If you live the life that God says to live then you will get all the results the word says... There is the work of soul winning but there is the work of Love. Romans 7:4-6...Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. 5. For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. 6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. Isaiah 61:1-3...The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; 3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called "trees of righteousness," the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Mathew 3:10...And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Luke 3:9...And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Hebrews 6:8...But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. John 15:8...Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. Luke 13:6-9...He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. 7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? 8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: 9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
