The document discusses the Tjibaou Cultural Center in Noumea, New Caledonia which was designed by renowned architect Renzo Piano to honor the culture of the indigenous Kanak people. It provides details about the design, construction, and features of the center.

The architectural style draws inspiration from traditional Kanak hut structures, represented by the 10 cone-shaped wooden huts grouped among pine trees that form the complex.

The Tjibaou Cultural Center was designed by renowned Italian architect Renzo Piano, winner of the Pritzker Prize for Architecture.
