Mimics
Bridge the gap between 2D image data & 3D engineering applications
Mimics software allows you to process and edit your 2D image data (CT, CT, MRI, etc.) to construct 3D models with the utmost accuracy, exibility and user friendliness. The powerful segmentation tools allow you to segment your medical CT/MRI images, take measurements and engineer directly on your 3D model. From there you can export your 3D data to a wide range of output formats and engineering applications; such as FEA, design, surgical simulation, additive manufacturing and more. 1
3-matic
Fast-forward design & geometry meshing
3D data from Mimics can be used in 3-matic to perform a variety of design and meshing operations directly on the anatomical data thereby eliminating the need for the lengthy, error-prone process of reverse engineering. This will maximize accuracy and save time. Your anatomical data or design can then be exported to any CAD and all major CAE packages, making 3-matic the perfect complement to your normal workow.

The Mimics Innovation Suite has enabled sophisticated, multi-component nite element models of complex anatomical structures to be generated from CT and MR data. The advent of forward engineering (digital CAD) signicantly reduces design time and simplies the modeling process.

Training
Expand your skills
To improve your efciency, we provide comprehensive training on a regular basis at our ofces around the world. We can also provide customized training at your facility. Our Innovation Courses are another great way to gain a better understanding of the Mimics Innovation Suite and what it can do for you.
I would strongly recommend Innovation Courses to all serious users. The presentations were very professional and the enthusiasm of the Materialise staff made it fun.
