Giving back to the community

ASI
Constructors,
Inc.,
was
awarded
the
contract for fixing the plunge pool at the
bottom of the Fort Peck Spillway and this is
ASIs second year of working on the massive project.
The crew of ASI is comprised of workers from all over
the country (the only local man working on the job is
at far right, Brad Olson). What started out as a little bet
among them turned into a heart-warming fund-raising
event that is now going to supply holiday turkeys for local
families that can use a little help. Over $2,100 was raised
by the ASI crew working here with the Stockman Bar
kicking in $200 and Amusement Services (Ken Carson

of Billings) also donating $200. The money was turned

over to Reynolds and Albertsons with both food stores
generously agreeing to supply the fixins to go along with
the turkeys. Thats Reynolds Terry Colbrese in the black
jacket fourth from left. Next to him is Albertsons Bob
Loewen, and next to Bob is Louise Twitchell representing
the Stockman Bar. ASI employees are Hoss, Larry, John,
Brock, Eddie, Nathan, Nick, Tylor, Darren, Mike, Roger,
Ronny and Brad. They have been thoroughly enjoying
the northeast Montana hospitality when work is done for
the day the reason they decided to give back to the
community. Thanks, ASI!

Because of some issues that have arisen, the Glasgow

City-County Library has changed its policy to state that
children under the age of 8 must be accompanied and
supervised by an adult. Your cooperation is appreciated
with this policy, in making this a safe and welcoming
environment for everyone. Remodeling is still in the
process, and they have new circulation and computer
desks. Come check it out when you can!
