Cons of Using The 8 Multiple Intelligences in Schools
This is a theory. Theory could be defined as an idea used to account for a situation
or justify a course of action. A supposition, or uncertain belief, of a system of
ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles
independent of the thing to be explained.
This no valid measurement tool, so we cant be sure if the students are actually
the intelligence they tested.
o A student may change over the years.
o What if the student has almost equal scores in a couple of categories
o Proposed assessments are quite complex and expensive to design.
o Difficulty in finding their strongest intelligence.
o No two human beings are the same because everyone processes
information different at different levels and how it is taught so having
students get a certain textbook on their intelligence isnt accurate even if
you are trying to having learning specialized to them.
o People have different interests all depending on their interest on a subject.
Either way with a normal or specialized textbook in all depends on if the
student wants to learn about it to a deeper level.
Interfere with each other if the class hasnt been carefully planned and activities
are mixed up.
o Cost teachers to work more on how they are going to do their lesson plan
