    neighbors, families, homes, and communities
    Hi Fellow associates!
    I want to update you on the progress of our construction
    going on at our store. Our offices are being painted starting
    today and next week they will install the ceilings. The offices and break room will be done by around January 18. Unfortunately we will have to walk outside and access them
    through the front door until our new bakery is installed.
    Our new addition is coming along; they will be installing the
    concrete floors next week and soon after that it will be totally enclosed and out of the elements. The projected opening of the addition is the first week of February. When it
    opens it will include large dairy and frozen food departments, a 48' refrigerated beer case and four grocery aisles.
    When we open the addition we will be resetting all the grocery aisles and because of that we will be looking for associates to work on the floor to direct customers to product
    that they can't find. We will need to have associates doing
    this from 8 am to 9 pm. If anyone is interested in doing this
    please contact Mary or any one of the managers. Being
    pleasant and helpful is the major requirements of this job.
    The dock is almost done and now they have to build a ramp
    for the vendors to use to access our receiving area. This
    should all be completed by December 20.
    Finally I want to inform you of something new at our store
    this year. Since we no longer have a Christmas party, we are
    having something for all of the associates on December 24.
    All of your department managers and store management
    are going to bring food and treats for all associates to eat
    on that day. It won't be a meal but mostly finger foods for
    you to enjoy. If anyone wants to help Kathy Dworetsky help
    make some treats please see her, as I am sure she could use
    the help.
    I want to take this opportunity to thank all our associates
    for the great job they did this year. We are looking towards
    an exciting and successful year with the opening of our remodeled store. The management team, Jon, Kevin, Mike
    and myself want to wish you and your families a happy and
    Blessed Christmas.
