numbers to assist you in locating the pictorial data or rough-in dimensions required.
One complete set is to remain behind tab marked specifications. A second set may be
pulled apart and distributed throughout your catalog to assist in your selection of products when
working in an individual section. You may request additional sets. These can be marked up, cut
up, etc., for insertion into your working specifications.

Since these specifications cover general work, we hope you will call on us for any special

WALL HUNG SIPHON JET WATER CLOSET SUPPORTS

Smith No. 0200 series adjustable shallow rough-in support for one-pour floor construction. Where two-pour floor construction
is required, Smith No. 0100 series adjustable deep rough-in support may be used. Where furred wall space is not sufficient
for the adjustable series, Smith compact No. 0400 series may be used.
WALL HUNG BLOWOUT WATER CLOSET SUPPORTS
Smith No. 0300 series adjustable rough-in support. Where furred wall space is not sufficient for the adjustable series,
Smith compact No. 0400 series may be used.
WALL HUNG RESIDENTIAL WATER CLOSET SUPPORTS FLOOR-MOUNT TYPE
Smith No. 0550F series siphon jet supports with waste fitting and extra heavy cast iron face plate. Combined face plate and
closet support shall be securely bolted to floor construction. When back-to-back bowls are specified, use No. 0550FD series.
WALL HUNG RESIDENTIAL WATER CLOSET SUPPORTS STUD-MOUNT TYPE
Smith 0550 series stud-mount siphon jet support with waste fitting and adjustable steel face plate with steel reinforcing strap
of design which transmits all top fixture stud-bolt loading to interior wall construction and bottom fixture stud-bolt loading to
sole plate. When back-to-back bowls are specified, use No. 0550D series.
FLOOR MOUNTED BACK OUTLET WATER CLOSET FITTINGS
Smith No. 0200 or 0300 adjustable series fixture supports with type No. 2 outlet connection. Where furred wall space is not
sufficient for the adjustable series, Smith compact No. 0400 series or Smith No. 0670 thru 0680 waste fitting assembly with
Type No. 2 closet outlet connection may be used.
WALL HUNG BLOWOUT URINALS ON FLOOR MOUNTED SUPPORT
Smith No. 0629, 0630, 0632 or 0633 urinal support with adjustable coupling assembly. Face plate shall be supported by
extra heavy cast iron base support which shall be securely bolted to floor construction.
WALL HUNG BLOWOUT AND WASHOUT URINALS ON FLOOR MOUNTED SUPPORT
Smith No. 0634, 0635, 0636 and 0637 urinal support. Uprights shall be high-strength steel with welded bases securely bolted to floor construction.
ELECTRIC WATER COOLER WALL SUPPORT
Smith No. 0830 floor mounted electric water cooler support. Uprights shall be high-strength steel with welded bases securely bolted to floor construction.

LAVATORY & SINK SUPPORTS

(For Walls of Sufficient Strength to Support Lavatory Fixtures)

STEEL BACKING PLATE FOR PLUMBING FIXTURES

Where plumbing fixtures or the arms which support them are specified to be attached to a steel plate in the wall, furnish
and install a 1/4 thick by 6 wide steel plate which shall extend at least one stud beyond the first and last fixture mounting
points. In wood stud construction, the plate shall be securely attached to each stud which it crosses with two 1/2 steel bolts
on 4 centers with 1/8 thick by 1 1/2 wide x 6 long steel backup plates. In steel stud construction, the plate shall be
attached to each stud which it crosses by 1/8 fillet weld across the full width of the steel stud flange. Fixture or supporting
arms shall be securely and firmly attached to the steel plate in accordance with the manufacturers instructions.
HIGH-BACK LAVATORIES - CONCEALED ARMS ON BACKING PLATE
Lavatories shall be punched for Smith No. 0723 concealed arm fixture support. The arms shall be securely bolted to the
steel backing plate in the wall as hereinbefore specified. They shall have positive mechanical locking device and shall be
fully adjustable after installation of the finished wall.

Lavatories shall be punched for Smith No. 0723 (-E) concealed arm fixture support with chromium plated threaded
escutcheons. The arms shall be securely bolted to steel backing plate in the wall as hereinbefore specified. They shall have
positive mechanical locking device and shall be fully adjustable after installation of the finished wall.
LAVATORIES - EXPOSED ARMS ON BACKING PLATE
Smith No. 0790 or 0792 exposed acid resistant coated arm fixture support. Arms shall be securely bolted to steel backing
plate as hereinbefore specified.
