The prime minister argues that family institution determines students' success. He defines family institution as the biological and social ties within a family unit, and determines as being the key factor in causing something to occur. He then presents three arguments in favor of the motion: 1) Emulation of role models within the family institution, like parents, molds students during their formative years as they are the closest models. 2) Family socioeconomic status allows for a well-developed family institution. 3) Natural altruism exists within family institutions, where families desire the best for their students. He concludes by stating family is a fundamental source of education for students based on connections to community and purpose in life.

Family Institution Determines
Students Success
Thank you Madam Speaker. Good Morning to the
honourable adjudicators, worthy opponents and members of the house. Today, I as the prime minister of this house strongly and firmly believes that the motion today, Family Institution Determines Students Success, should stand and must stand. As the government, we strongly believe that this is true, but before we come to our actual arguments, let me first define the critical terms in todays debate. The phrase, Family Institution, refers to the biological and social ties in an institution for reproduction, upbringing and cooperation due to blood relationship which may differ in structure but are similar in function. Determines, on the other hand is being the key factor in causing something to occur. Furthermore, we as the government would like to include academics, cocurriculum, social status and civic-mindness to represent a students success. As the prime minister, I have already provided the definitions for the topic today. Next, I will deliver the first argument today which is emulation of family institution moulds students during their formative years. Later on, my deputy prime minister will provide the second and third arguments today which are familys socioeconomic status makes family insitution welldeveloped and the natural phenomenon of altruism exists within family institution desiring the best for students. My third speaker will then rebut all the implausible points brought up by the opposition. Next, allow me to provide the stand to todays debate, which is THBT family institution determines students success because it is a fundamental source of education which is based on the premise that each person finds identity, meaning and purpose in life through connections to the community or to the natural world.
Without further ado, allow me to move on to my first
point which is emulation of family institution moulds students during their formative years. Individuals that are
observed are called role models. In society students are surrounded
by many influential role models, such as parents , elder siblings, characters on childrens TV and friends within their peer group who have achieved success . These models provide examples of behavior to observe and imitate, e.g. masculine and feminine, pro and antisocial etc. The closest role models reside within the family institution and they are the ones that spend the most time with the students. Parents are the simplest examples of the optimum role models for the students at a younger age. The students are more likely to attend to and imitate people they perceive are similar to themselves. Consequently, it is more likely to imitate the behaviour modeled by the people which are closest to them. Furthermore, if a student imitates a behaviour and the consequences are rewarding, the student will continue to imitate such behaviour. This represents the reinforcement of the behaviour and will continue to be reinforced until such a time where the behaviour is no longer rewarded. Reinforcement can either be positive or negative, the important factor is that it will lead to a change in the students behaviour which will affect the probability of success. Now, an empty bottle stays empty unless it is filled. Basically, this change can only occur when the parents showcase the consequences of their actions. To follow that up, the student will also think of what would happen to other people if they were to imitate a certain behaviour. This relates to the attachment between the student and the parent who possess qualities that are rewarding. The motivation to imitate a particular model is that they have a quality which the individual would like to possess. From here, we can conclude that the parents are the most plausible role models to the students and from that statement, we can conclude that family institution determines students success. Before I make way for the opposition, allow me to repeat the caseline in todays debate, THBT family institution
determines students success because it is a
fundamental source of education which is based on the premise that each person finds identity, meaning and purpose in life through connections to the community or to the natural world . Therefore ladies
and gentleman, the motion today, family institutiton determines
students success should and must stand. With that, I rest my case.
