SUMMER SCHOOL

Summer School applications are available on the counter in the student office.
Registration Deadline is FRIDAY, APRIL 10th, at 4:00pm. Go ahead classes
are limited. Applications are date/time stamped. All applications are processed
on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis.

PROM

Just a reminder: If you will be attending the Secret Garden Prom on Saturday,
You must attend school ALL day on Friday to be able to attend Prom on
Saturday! Attendance will be taken at Prom. Gates will close at Holland
Park West at 6:30!
If you need directions to Holland Park West, you can pick up a hard copy on the

SENIORS

If you are planning on attending Reedley College or Fresno City College; and you
attended the Advising Day and have completed all the steps necessary for you
to register for your classes on April 28th and have received an email saying that
you did not attend the advising day see Ms. Loving.

SENIORS

Attention Seniors! The adult CNA course for 2015 registration has begun. If you
would like to take the summer CNA class please contact Mrs. S Chambers
(Nursing Instructor) for more details.

BIBLE CLUB

Rising Generation will be meeting TODAY in room 2310 at 12:45. See you there!

ANIME CLUB

Attention Anime Club members: There will be a meeting held in room 1502 at
lunch on Wednesday, April 8th. Please attend.

GSA

Attention GSA club members: we will be having a GSA meeting today,


Thursday, during lunch to discuss the Day of Silence and an upcoming field trip.
Please show up promptly at 12:45 to room 2307.

BIGS

Any students interested in being a Bigs mentor for the 2015-2016 school year for
elementary students at Garfield or Roosevelt elementary schools can obtain an
application from Mrs. Harris or Mrs. Salinas in the front office. The deadline to
apply is May 1, 2015. Make a difference in the lives of an elementary student by
being a Bigs mentor. Obtain more information from the front office.

There will be Saturday School this Saturday, April 11th we are back on our normal

ART INSTITUTE

Field trip to Art Institute: Students interested to Art or Cooking as a career, see
Mrs. Thornburg in 703/705 for information about the trip to the Art Institute in
Sacramento next Wednesday, April 15th.

ACADEMIC
MENTORS

Please see Mrs. Sultenfuss on Friday at lunch in the girls locker room. You will
be getting information on the field trip coming up on April 29th!

SENIORS

If you are planning on attending Fresno State in the fall, PLEASE check your
email DAILY. The deadline to accept admissions to Fresno State is May 1st. If you
miss this deadline, your admissions offer will be dropped and you will not be able
to attend Fresno State. By May 1st you must also sign up for and register for
Dog Days. If you know that you will be gone for part of the summer, please sign
up for Dog Days ASAP as there are a limited number of Dog Days and a limited
number of spots for each session. Please remember that attending Dog Days
over the summer is mandatory.

OLYMPIC WEEK

Its time to start getting your team together for Olympic Week. Teams of 6
students in the same grade and same gender can sign up with their own unique
team name to compete during the Olympic Week festivities. Teams compete not
only to gain class spirit points but also for the title of Olympic Week Champions.
Students must be eligible for the extended lunch period in order to be a
participant. Teams are encouraged to make their own team shirts to wear during
these events. Signup sheets are available now in the student office and are due

ALL STUDENTS

Attention Students: It is suggested that you carry your bags with you at all times,
Staff is not able to open the classrooms during lunch or afterschool to retrieve
your Bag/Instruments/Sports Gear or anything else left in the classroom. It is
your responsibility to carry your items with you at all times.
