1. Referees
The Main Referees of all tournaments at Crossfire Intel Challenge 7: Malaysian Edition
will be Brian 'Death' Chan & Douglas 'Auricom' Chin, whereby either has the final say on
all and any disputes.
2.3 Each team must present 1 (One) representative. He/she is responsible for his/her
team and will be responsible of all communication with the Referees.
2.4 Each team member must use the exact same team abbreviation (Clan Tag).
2.5 Each person attending the tournament must have read and accepted the rules and
regulations. Ignoring it can not be a reason put forward in case of an issue or dispute.

the right to modify the rules and regulations from time to time without notice, to protect
the integrity and smooth flow of the tournament.
3. Rules
The tournament will be played with the following ruleset:
• Victory Condition: The first team to win 16 (Sixteen) rounds. (If a team scores 16
(Sixteen) Rounds first, the match is ended immediately.)
• The team playing as the Terrorist side first will be announced before the match or
decided by coin toss.
• In the case of a tie after the regulation rounds end, 6 (six) extra rounds will be
played. (3 (Three) Rounds as Terrorists / 3 (Three) Rounds as Counter-Terrorists
per team)
• In the case of yet another tie after the 6 (Six) extra Rounds, as stated above, 6
(Six) additional extra Rounds will be played until the tie is broken

4. Map Selection
4.1 Prior to each match the Team Captains of the facing teams meets up with their
Referee. Both Team Captains will then select a map to be eliminated from the map pool
for their match. The Referee will then randomly pick a map to be played, out from the
remaining 3 (Three) maps.
4.2 Maps may also be randomly set for each match, during the double elimination phase.

• After the start of 4th Round - The particular round will continue, and will be
paused at the end of the round.
10.2 If 3 (Three) or more Players are unintentionally disconnected, the round played at
that point will be ignored and the game will be paused at the end of the round.
10.3 The next round will be played after confirmation of all Players’ connection to the
server
10.4 The money amount for all Players will be reset to $800.
10.5 In the case of intentional disconnection, the referee may decide to end the match
with the offending team losing by forfeit.

11.2 It is forbidden to do damage the property of Blitzone and partners of Crossfire Intel
Challenge 7: Malaysian Edition.
• Warning.
• Default loss.
12.3 Disqualifications are applied by the Tournament Referee and the Event Manager of
Crossfire Intel Challenge 7: Malaysian Edition in unison. And will void all rights for the
entire team to participate further in the tournament, and also to use the facilities
provided by Crossfire Intel Challenge 7: Malaysian Edition.

13.2 No Show = 9 (Nine) Rounds to the winner and 0 (Zero) Rounds to the loser.
2. Higher number of points obtained in the group matches played amongst the teams
in question.
3. Superior round difference from the group matches played amongst the teams in
question.
4. Higher number of rounds scored in the group matches played amongst the teams
in question.
5. Drawing of lots.

17. Cheating
17.1 The Server Master will record demos, via HLTV.
17.2 No 3rd party program or any trace of scripts will be allowed. This includes personal
map textures and player exploits. If found, it will be considered a violation of the rules
and will be sanctioned according to 12.2.
17.3 Players are responsible for their actions in regards to known map or game
bugs/exploits. Any Player or Team utilizing ANY exploit or bug in a map or game,
unintentional or otherwise, will be sanctioned according to 12.2.
17.4 Any tampering with computer hardware or software, including but not limited to
intentional crashing of software and illegal modification of hardware or software
configurations will result in immediate disqualification.
18.2 Default model skins must be used. (Either CS 1.6 or CZ model skins.)
• HE Grenades: 1 (One)
18.6 Boosting (stepping on top of own team-mates) is allowed with any number of
Players.

18.9 Silent C4 plants are considered bug play. Such an offense will be sanctioned
according to 12.2
19. Communication
Team members are fully allowed to communicate verbally, even when 'dead'. (Ghost
Talking)
20. Roster
20.1 A team is allowed to have substitutes on their roster. The roster is locked during the
entire tournament. Tournament Referees can decide to make exceptions on roster
changes depending on the basis of the request (e.g. a player is injured, sick etc.).
20.2 Teams are allowed substitutions, provided if they are registered on the roster. No
substitutions will be allowed after the start of a match. If any team needs to make more
than 2 (Two) substitutions for any reason whatsoever, the team must forfeit their match.
A Referee has to be notified prior to the substitution.
20.3 Teams are not allowed to rotate their players in between matches.
20.4 A player can not participate in more than 1 (One) team during the tournament.
