this suit the wands are always in leaf,
as it is a suit of life and animation.
Emotionally and otherwise, the
Queens personality corresponds to
that of the King, but is more magnetic.
Divinatory Meanings: A dark woman
or a countrywoman, friendly, chaste,
loving, honorable. If the card beside
her signifies a man, she is well
disposed towards him; if a woman,
she is interested in the Querent. Also,
love of money. Reversed: Good,
economical, obliging, serviceable. Also
signifies opposition, jealousy, deceit,
and infidelity.
KNIGHT of WandsHe is shown
as if upon a journey, armed with a short
wand, and although mailed is not on a
warlike errand. He is passing mounds
or pyramids. Divinatory Meanings:

maiden are pledging one another, and
above their cups rises the caduceus of
Hermes, between the great wings of
which there appears a lions head. It
is a variant of a sign which is found in
some old examples of this card. Some
curious meanings are attached to it, but
they do not concern us in this place.

friendship, union, affinity, concord,
sympathy, the inter-relation of the
sexes, andas a suggestion apart from
all offices of divinationthat which
