With the development of tourism industry and growth of social


economy of the nation of that have 7,107 islands has big attracting travelers
over the world. This time, the hotels of both sides play an important role. The
fierce competition of hotel services and diverse requirements of guest make
the two core hotels of Nueva Vizcaya.

The Highlander hotel & resort and 24/7 inn facing new challenges in
servicing the guest for them to provide the service quality and value that
guest expect and to create moment of truth to their valued guest , hoping
they can make full use of services advantage to improve customers'
satisfaction and loyalty, then promote competitive capability. The object of
this comparative study is to analyze the difference of services and figure out
main factors that result in service differentiation between Highlander hotel &
resort and 24/7 inn (refer to the diagram)
The Highlander Hotel and Resort of Solano, Nueva Vizcaya is the
biggest and most luxurious hotel in Cagayan Valley, Philippines. Upon
entering the lobby of the hotel you will see its grandiose two- storey foyer,
painted in yellow and baby blue stripes paintings on the walls from floor to
ceiling. The decor is a strange mish-mash of French, Chinese and Venetian
style.The rooms, like the foyer, are also two-storey as well with large.
Highlander Hotel & Resort - Solano classifies itself as a 3 star hotel. They
combines warm hospitality with a lovely ambiance to create the guest a
reason to come and to come back. The 24/7 inn is located at SolanoBayombong Boundary, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. Their passion, for excellence
endeavors not only to satisfy, but also to surpass all the needs of our
guests.
In room rates, it is normal to a hotel to have unfair amount of a room.
It depends on the room type. We notice, 24/7 offer several standard rooms
and drive-in rooms inn.
Highlander Hotel & Resort and 24/7 are the popular choice amongst
travelers in Solano and Bayombong, whether exploring or just passing
through. Both hotels offer a high standard of services and amenities to suit
the individual needs of all traveler/guests. All the necessary facilities,
including car park, public transit, laundry service, air conditioned rooms,
videoke, cable TV ,restaurant and bar, function hall, Wi-Fi in public areas, 24H front desk and nipa hut, are at hand. The Highlander hotel have their
family room, meeting facilities and boutique while Non-Airconditioned
Rooms , Junior Executive Suite, Senior Executive Suite, hot & cold shower
24l7 inn have. Both hotels offer various sports and recreational opportunities,
outdoor pool, garden and SPA .The only difference is, guest who are fun of
playing billiards can take their time at Highlander and in 24/7 for those fun of
aqua basketball.
In the Principle of Management, Hospitality Organization must take to
be an eff ective in achieving their service mission. It is very important also to
be effective staff; the Hospitality Industry depends almost completely upon
its personnel to deliver the high-quality guest experience that distinguishes
the excellent Hospitality organization rom merely good. The best Hospitality
staff in the world cannot succeed without an effective array of systems to
back them up in delivering the service that the guest comes for. An

impressive mission statement and a big server smile cant make-up or a dirty
room, unpredictable room service, or a broken air conditioner.
