Resume Scripts
We have to emphasize that these are ONLY sample scripts highlighting basic areas that could be
covered in your visume. Do not copy them. You are unique. Take the time to prepare a script that
reects YOU and your awesome personality. Feel free to use wit, humor and everything in between.
Your visume should be engaging and interesting. The most important part is to let employers know what
you can bring to the table and why they should hire you.

Sample Script A
Hello, my name is John. I'd like to introduce myself and briey explain why hiring me could benet your
organization. I'm currently pursuing my Bachelors in Business Administration at Awesome University and
will graduate in May 2013
Having spent over 15 years of my life in Dubai, I see the UAE as my second home and have an extensive
knowledge of the region and the local market. I speak 2 languages uently English and French, and am
now taking courses in written and spoken Arabic.
I am also well versed with Microsoft Oce applications and procient in the use of Adobe Flash and
After Eects.
With a valid UAE driving license and my own car, I am open to a prole that involves meeting clients and
managing business development opportunities. Being an extrovert helps me communicate with people
from diverse backgrounds and nationalities with ease.
My specialization in Consumer Psychology can be applied to various industries including marketing,
advertising, strategic branding, and product development.
I am however open to working in any role where I can utilize my skills-to learn, contribute and grow with
the organization.
I'm hardworking, creative and a real fast learner. This allows me to take whatever I am taught and adapt
it quickly to the requirements of the organization.
I am currently available for short term projects and full time vacancies.

Sample Script B
Hi, my name is Jane, and I'm a student at Super University of Abu Dhabi pursuing my degree in Chemical
Engineering with a biochemistry concentration.
I've completed my schooling in the US and settled down in Abu Dhabi with my family, 3 years ago. I am
now fairly accustomed to life in the region and plan to complete my education and pursue my career
here.
One of the things I enjoy most about my time here at "Super" is committing to organizations that serve
both the people on campus and the neighboring communities. My involvement with several social
causes at university has broadened my cultural awareness and helped me realize the importance of
contributing to society.
I am an active member of International Students Club and the InternsME Student Ambassador Program,
being elected to a leadership position in both these organizations.
I speak uent English and Spanish. I have a valid UAE driving license and can organize a vehicle, if
required.
I am currently looking for an internship opportunity with a company that can provide me with some
valuable work experience. I'm particularly interested in roles that will get me involved with Chemical
design or Chemical equipment engineering.
I am however open to any opportunity that will help me gain some professional exposure in the
Chemical industry and provide me with some practical insight in my eld of study.
While my educational qualications will add immediate value to your organization, when combined with
my passion, dedication and commitment to innovative thinking, I believe I provide a valuable total
package. I am an extremely hard worker and will do my best to justify your decision to oer me an
opportunity.
