rep = repeat
R = Row, row
picot = ch 3, sl st into top/head of dc or st
stated.
ea = each
rep = repeat
inc = increase
dec = decrease
st = stitch
sp = space
dc/ch3] rep between [ ] to next to last st, ch 1, hdc into last dc/ch 3, ch 1 and
turn. NOTE: Sc around the post of the dc, or into the ch space, not into the
stitches or chains.
R 2 : Sc in same ch sp, ch 3, sc in next ch 3 sp, ch 3, sc in next ch 3 sp; (3 dc,
ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch 3 sp, sc in next ch 3 sp; * (ch 3, sc in next ch 3 sp) twice,
(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch3 sp*, rep between ** across, ending with ch 1
and hdc in last ch 3 sp. Ch 1, turn.
R 3 : Sc in same sp; ch 3, sc in next ch 3 sp; * ( dc in next dc, ch 1, skip dc, dc
in next dc, [2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc] in ch sp, dc in next dc, ch 1, skip dc, dc in next dc,
sc in next ch 3 sp, ch 3, sc in next ch 3 sp *, rep between ** across. End with
ch 1, hdc in last ch 3 sp. Ch1, turn.
R 4 : Sc in same ch sp; * dc in next dc, ch 1, dc in next dc, ch 1, skip dc, dc in
next dc, [3 dc, picot, 2 dc in ch sp], dc in next dc, ch 1, skip dc, dc in next dc,
ch 1, dc in next dc, sc in next ch 3 sp *, rep between ** to end. Finish off.
Optional: Stretch and block if desired, but do not stretch too harshly.
