LED lighting systems can be used for numerous applications and are a new-generation functional, decorative and
creative solution, not just an efficient replacement for traditional light sources but the more correct choice for
applications where the objective is to cut energy consumption (with savings as high as 90%) and considerably
contain maintenance expenses.
With LED technology it is possible to obtain the intensity or color of light of preference in order to personalize and
model ambiences. As a result, LED lighting systems are used in many different environments, from lighting indoor
spaces (offices, households, retail, professional studios, museums, etc.) to outdoor spaces (gardens, terraces etc.).

LED light sources are easily installed, replacing lamps without any need to modify existing systems. Lamps with this
technology are fully compatible with conventional lamps in dimensions, connectors and supply voltage.
EFFICIENCY AND SAFETY

With the same power, LED lamps produce much more light than incandescent or halogen lamps. In the latter,
only a small amount of energy is transformed into light, whereas 95% is released as heat. In fact, LED light
sources stay cool even after hours of use and can be touched without running the risk of getting burnt. LED
light sources are, therefore, absolutely safer and more suitable for lighting environments, surfaces or objects

Unlike traditional lamps, the average lifetime of LEDs can easily exceed 25,000
hours as they do not have filaments or other components that are sensitive to
thermal-mechanical shock. All this translates into a clear saving, not only on

FULL COMPLIANCE WITH THE ECODESIGN DIRECTIVE
Wiva LED lamps are manufactured in compliance with the European Unions directives and the CE marking on the
product guarantees that the product meets the essential requirements of the European Community directives.
Introduction of the Ecodesign Energy-related Products (ErP) Regulations in 2009 was another step toward improving
lighting efficiency and performance. These regulations have primarily resulted in phasing out the less efficient
incandescent lamps from the European market. The introduction of minimum requirements of both efficiency and
performance has also made it possible to speed up the rollout of more efficient technologies. Wiva Group has
made good use of this opportunity and is now able to offer the market reliable, efficient, high-performance LED
technology lamps.

Over a long year of research and testing, Wiva Group has developed
the Wireled technology with the following objectives
Respect the classical tradition and preserve the shape of the light bulbs.
Achieve greater brightness.
Use technologically advanced materials.

The result of this research is a lamp just like the shape of an incandescent lamp, enclosing a cuttingedge technology, able to produce a brightness nearing 100 lumens per Watt.
This has been achieved by designing a new filament made of a composite material predominantly
comprised of copper, unlike the one used in lamps currently on the market, still tied to the glass or
ceramic filament.

The 600mm T8 LED TWIN-TUBE has been designed, produced, certified and patented by Wiva Group to provide the only product able
to replace at zero-cost the whole stock of T8 linear fluorescent bulbs housed in existing fixtures with conventional magnetic wiring,
that is, LED tubes for conventional two-tube or four-tube fixtures. From now on, these can be easily and quickly relamped with the
600mm T8 LED TWIN-TUBE! Wiva Group has tested the product also in extreme load and power conditions, including incompatible
starter-T8 lamp combinations, and is therefore able to guarantee 100% safety.
600mm T8 LED TWIN-TUBE Applications
Replacement of the 18W linear fluorescent lamps in two-lamp or four-lamp ceiling light fixtures still used in a wide variety of
illumination systems:
Public environments: schools, hospitals, military bases, religious institutions, car parks, garages, communal areas, railway
stations, ports, airports;
Commercial environments: gymns, dressing rooms, camp sites, exhibition areas, shopping malls, stores;
Business environments: production plants, assembly shops, workshops, warehouses;
Service environments: offices, meeting rooms, business centers, canteens.
The 600mm T8 LED TWIN-TUBE lamps are available in the three standard color temperatures: 3000K, 4000K and 6000K in
polycarbonate tubes with the same opal finish as the classic Wiva LED tubes. Like these, also the LED TWIN-TUBE lamps have
rotatable connectors and a goniometer in order to be able to set the angle of the emitted light beam with a graduated ring. If the
light fixture has a power factor correction capacitor, it should be disconnected in order to optimize the power factor of the system
at the typical value of approx 0.7.
