Rather confusingly, TOGAF talks about the Implementation Governance Model which is a
deliverable, and the Architecture Governance Framework - which provides a framework
and guidelines for architecture governance. The framework outlines the concepts and
aspects of architecture governance in general, which are adapted to define the Implementation
Governance Model, used in Phase G of the ADM.
Implementation governance is just one aspect of architecture governance, covering the
management and control of all aspects of the development and evolution of enterprise
architectures and other architectures within the enterprise.
The organizational structure, highlights structural elements required for architecture governance
generally, including Implementation.
