PROFILE
My career has led me to specialize increasingly in the management of complex project , working
at the grassroots as well as higher level by utilizing my skills and creativity to alleviate and to
foster empowerment for the community and the organization, experience in: strategic forward-
planning; operating within the tight financial disciplines
FUNCTIONAL COMPENTENCE

Coordinate with partners in network of women and women's organizations and provide
technical assistance to partners in project planning, budgeting, proposal development and
implementation.
Development of an annual strategic plan for the Women’s’ Rights Project including

capacity of the local community in order to ensure sustainability of the project

Senior Community Mobilization
Responsibility for
Lead, manage, promote community mobilization activities in the project area (Mayo
Farm, Wed el Bashir Omdurman el Salaam, Jeble, Haj Yousif and Soba squatter areas)
and maintain conducive environment among the different actors involved in
implementation at the field level
Supervise community animators (CATs) and provide them with on going mentoring in
the context of community mobilization in relation to the other project components such
as capacity building and economic revitalization and organizational development.
Act as focal point for M$E system for all the programs in the area of operation and
conduct participatory assessment s in coordination with community mobilization
specialist and M&E officer , compile reports for further analysis of IRC M $E unit.
Act as focal point to liaison with the community on any IRC program intervention in the
project area and facilitate the work that needs community participation, CBO and
community structure formation
Assist community members in identifying their needs and generate solution, identifying
priority issues and analyses their own problem.
Encourage and stimulate community member to organize for action aimed at solving
their problem and plan, implement and monitor action that they define them selves,
encourage and stimulate full participation by the targeted community members in the
program.
Develop link and networks between different community groups/ structure to strengthen
community role in the project implementation, develop trust, tolerance and cooperation
among community members.
Provide training for community mobilization package to the partners NGO staffs and
jointly with partners ensure that all beneficiaries are fully aware of implementation of
their plan of action are in the system.
Assist with the preparations of project proposal; budget and plan of action. Provide
mentoring to the Community Based Organization and the Economic Development
committees in the project area.

Institutional Capacity Building Officer
Responsibility
Oversee the implementation of capacity building projects in their field location and ensure that
the projects are driving to meet objectives as laid out in project documents and determined by
the CSD Program management and Field management. Administer and supervision grants under
guidance of area coordinator and finance staff, ensuring CSOs comply with financial and
managerial guidelines in implementing IRC funded projects
Specific responsibility:
Initiates and organizes activities to enhance community outreach and lesion with the
community leaders.
Take the lead in identifying potential NNGO/CBOs to be selected as FAIR Partners
Take the lead in identifying the training needs of the partner’s different activities to be
undertaken with the CBOs in the community level.

trainer, prepare TORs and make arrangements for the training.

women CBOs.

training needs and conduct training to CBO members at management level.

training guide for CBO formation.
