PROJECT TITLE
HONDA ATLAS CARS PAKISTAN

1. Project Title
Honda is an entity that realizes the dreams of
individuals and spreads joy to people. Honda’s philosophy, unique
corporate culture, pursuit of challenges that fulfill individuals' dreams
and variety of products and activities born of challenges will remain
the foundation of the Honda brand. Basically in this project we will
emphasis on Honda atlas cars Pakistan limited.
2. Background of the company
Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited is a joint

venture between Honda Motor Company Limited Japan, and the Atlas
Group of Companies, Pakistan. The company was incorporated on
November --, 1992 and joint venture agreement was signed on August
---, 1993. The groundbreaking ceremony was held on April 17, 1993and
within a record time of 11 months, construction and erection of
machinery was completed. The first car rolled off the assembly line on
May 26, 1994. Official inauguration was done by President of
Pakistan, Sardar Farooq Ahmad Khan Leghari. Mr.Kawamoto,
President of Honda Motor Company Limited Japan was also
present to grace the occasion. The company is listed on Karachi,
Lahore and Islamabad Stock Exchanges.
On July 14, 1994, car bookings started at six dealerships in Karachi,

Lahore, and
Islamabad. Since then the Dealerships Network has expanded and
now the company has sixteen 3S (Sales, Service and Spare Parts) and
thirty 2S (Service and Spare Parts) Pit stops network in all major cities
of Pakistan. Since the commencement of production in 1994 till
March31, 2005, the company has
Produced and sold over 77,500 cars. All dealerships are constructed in
accordance with the standards defined by Honda World over.
Percentage of local parts conforms to the government's policy. Local
vendors are continuously patronized to develop parts locally. The
quality of local parts is thoroughly checked to meet stringent
international standards. We always strive to give outstanding service
to our valued customers. In addition to providing regular service to
customers, the company also regularly conducts Service
Campaigns, to facilitate customer's need for service. This has given our
customers absolute confidence in our cars, clearly evident from the
ever-increasing sale volumes. It is the constant endeavor of Honda
Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited to achieve No .1 Customer satisfaction.
Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited is committed to meet customer
expectations, and to provide good value for money. Currently we are
offering 8 different models of Honda CIVIC and CITY cars in wide range
of colors with unique technological and other features.
3.Rational for project research

a.Motivation for research problem
Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan limited motivate me to
do this project as the Honda is the worldwide multinational company
started joint venture in Pakistan and Honda is the 5th largest
automobile manufacturer in the world as well as the largest engine-
maker in the world, producing more than 14 million internal
combustion engines each year. As of August 2008, Honda cross
Chrysler as the 4th largest automobile manufacturer in the United
States. Currently, Honda is the second largest manufacturer in Japan
behind Toyota and ahead of Nissan
.
b.Importance of the proposed project
Through this research we came to know how Honda is satisfying

the customers in Pakistan and what are the thinking of Pakistani people about the Honda
product and their prices.
c. Benefits of proposed plan
The mission statement of Honda Company is

We see "The Power of Dreams" as a way of thinking that guides us
and
Pushes us forward.
Hence the great benefit through this proposed plan is that how the
multinational company Honda is satisfying his customer worldwide by
focusing on its mission statement.
4.Problem statement
What is the people attitude towards Honda products and prices in
Pakistan? How people of Pakistan are being satisfied through this multinational company
and are the people using Honda’s product are satisfied with product prices?
Is Honda working on its mission statement are they keeping in view “Power of dream”
5. Project Objective
As we know the Honda Motor Company, Limited
(Honda Giken Kōgyō Kabushiki-gaisha? Honda Technology Research
Institute Company, Limited) (TYO: 7267 NYSE: HMC) is a multinational
corporation, engine manufacturer and engineering corporation
headquartered in Japan.
The mentioned below is the company principle
Maintaining a global viewpoint, we are dedicated to supplying products
of the highest quality, yet at a reasonable price for worldwide customer
satisfaction.
My area of study is to cover the work of Honda in Pakistan their loyalty
to the customer and the satisfaction of the Pakistan people using the
products of Honda.
6.Project audience
The audience of this project is the entire university faculty and the
students using the products of Honda. They will also came to know what is the people
thinking about the Honda product in Pakistan.
7.Research design
The project utilized the descriptive method in acquiring information
for evaluation and analysis. The descriptive process of research was believed to be direct
investigation as it seeks direct responses from the respondent’s of this study. Some of the
data was gathered from the Internet and from articles from the newspaper as well.
8.Research Methodology
a. Target company
The targeted company is the Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Limited.
b.Population/sample
The population for this project will be the university faculty and
students as well. The theoretical information will be gathered from the Internet and
magazines.
c. Procedure
Questionnaire will be floated in the university to collect the data.
d. Type of data
The data is ordinal type of data .The primary data for this research
is gathered through questionnaires while the secondary data is gathered through the
Internet and past findings.
9.Expected outcome
The outcomes of this project will be helpful for the reader and will
be full of useful knowledge, and to learn InshahAllah
10. Expected Time Of Completion:

According to my point of view to fulfill such a task it might take
me about two weeks after the acceptance of the proposal. May Allah bless me and help
me to complete this task effectively and help me to achieve to learn the purpose of this
project. INSHALLAH.
