Air Outlet Selection Switch (1) - This switch selects the position of each air outlet. Each
switch controls a different air outlet.
Upper Body and Under Seat Selecting this switch will open air
outlet (A), air outlet (E) and air
outlet (B) .

Under Seat and Defroster Selecting this switch will open air
outlet (B), air outlet (C) and air
outlet (D) .
Temperature Selection
Switch (Increase) (2) The temperature selection
switch (increase) causes
the numeric display on the
preset temperature display
to increment. This switch
also sends the code for a
temperature (increase) to
the control module. A
single press of this key is
equal to one step.
Increment the temperature
by holding the temperature
selection switch down. The
size of step is equal to 1F
and .5C in the automatic
mode. The size of a step is
equal to 1 step in the mode
for manual heat.

switch (decrease) causes
the numeric display on the
preset temperature display
to decrease. This switch
also sends the code for a
temperature (decrease) to
the control module. A

(1) Display of set temperature

The display for preset temperature (1) displays codes when system components are
operating abnormally.
When a failure occurs, display (1) shows the letter "E" in the last position. For example,
if an error occurs and the system is set at 20C (68F), display (1) will show "20. E (68.
E)". A list of all the error codes is given in the following table:
