# In event of less candidates meeting this requirement, the remaining seats will be filled
through UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT)

100% Scholarship on Academic Fee (2010-11):


1. Offered to students securing an aggregate of 85% marks in class XII & 90% marks in
PCM will be considered for scholarship for B.Tech (All Streams).
2. Students with Minimum 90% marks in class XII aggregate will be considered for
scholarship in BBA/ Integrated LLB Programs.
3. Number of scholarship to be awarded will be at the discretion of the University.

Terms & Conditions for renewable of scholarship in the subsequent year will be as per the
policy of the University.

ranking upto 1500 will be exempted from UPES Law Studies Aptitude test and will be invited
directly for GD and Interview (upto 20% of Seats). In the event, less number of candidates
meet the above requirement the remaining seats will be filled through UPES Law Studies
Aptitude Test (UL-SAT).

Please Note:

• Candidates appearing in final year qualifying examination are also eligible to apply
provided they submit the proof of their eligibility latest by September 30,
2010. Admission of students failing to submit the proof of their eligibility by
September 30, 2010 even on account of non declaration of results by their
respective Universities, will stand automatically cancelled & no refund of fee will be
admissible, in such cases.
• For all M. Tech. programs, candidates with relevant work experience and valid GATE
score will be preferred and may be offered teaching and research
assistantship while pursuing the program as per University's requirements and
discretion.
• Admissions will be purely on the basis of merit and candidates are strongly advised
against canvassing and/or extraneous pressure on the selection process.
Any candidate found guilty in above activities, his/her candidature is liable for
immediate disqualification.
• The University of Petroleum & Energy Studies reserves the right to cancel any
advertised course due to insufficient admissions, enrolments or for any other
reason beyond its control. In such an eventuality, full fee shall be refunded to the
student.
• Students with compartment in 10+2/ final semester/ final year are not eligible to apply
for any program.
