Introduction
Give a name to your team. In our group there are five members. Every member
of our group gave lots of effort in making of the canvas. Our guide Prof. Komal
A. Sonagra gave introduction about this subject and explained how to make the
canvas of the DE-1 and gave better understanding of our Topic. Design thinking
give the idea of solving the problems with wide range of innovative ideas. This
opens the doors to solve problems with different ways. Any problem has a
solution it only needs to find how we solve it. If you want to go to any place
then there are many ways to reach there, just like that there are many ways to
solve the problems. Design thinking is that how you solve any problem
systematically or making of idea with users need. In design thinking we have to
know about problems has been faced by the users and by reviewing the users we
can solve the problems. Design thinking required team work to find easiest and
fastest way to solve the problems. By discussing the questions to each other
gives the better idea rather than to solve the problem lonely. Hence design
thinking gave better understanding about the problems and idea.
Empathy Mapping (Canvas-1)
The knowledge of current traction system is require before making the new
traction or any farther modification.
Users:- the various users which are directly or indirectly
related to our project
Like, Industries, Travel companies, Transportation companies, Army

Stake holders:- Stakeholders mean a person or organization with interest
Like, GMDC, ADANI, IFFCO, IRCTC, Army, Make my Trip, Yatra.com,
Army
Activities:- Activities which can be done by the user or directly related to the
stake holders
Like; Student going to school/collage, Employee going to their work, Labours
going to works, Delivering goods, Travelling, Going to any place for holydays,
A company taking carrying goods,
Hence the people use traction to travel here and there. And for transporting their
goods.

Story Boarding
Happy story :-1
Before the traction system, student and businessmen had to take route of
bus, it took too much time to reach to destination. But now due to traction
system student can reach their collage and schools in time, also businessmen at
their work place.
Happy story :-2
A company of automobile had to change its location. Its heavy machinery
were difficult to transport via road due to under construction of high-way. But
due to newly installed traction system they could easily transport their
machinery in less time and at low cost.
Sad story :-1
For a rescue operation XYZ organization was sending goods like food
materials, bedding etc. With its men through train to the rescue spot but there
was not proper gap between tracks and that was summer due to heat expansion
the track became expand & get distract. Now, due to this distraction the train
fall down from its track and this miss feting caused severe loss of money & lead
a great loss to the victim of disaster.

Sad story :-2
It was the time of making of tracks. But due to economy tracks were need
to pass through the area where habitation was already well settled. Therefore to
prepare track people of that land was covered for preparing tracking system &
they were forced to find their homes, live hood totally new.

Ideation Canvas (Canvas-2)

These are the second step of the project or problem. From the user canvas,
you have an idea what are the people? In ideation canvas, you have carried out
which type of activities is related to your project and people? What is situation
and location regarding to activities? Then after you find the possible solution.
People:- Common Public, Business class, professional consultation,
Government & private staff, Student& Teachers
Activity:- Designing traction system , designing electric traction, Designing

Maglev traction ,designing Infrastructure ,providing fuel, providing electricity,
Etc.

Location/context/situation:- thermal power station, coal mine, at port, through

forest ,through desert, through urban area, Underground, Over the River or sea
etc.

Props/Solution :- Using Electric Traction, Using Maglev Traction, Advanced

Controlling System, Reducing Power Consumption, Designing Aerodynamic
Structure, Using better parts.

Product Development Canvas ( Canvas-3)

People :- Students, labours, employee, common public
Purpose:- Safety, Reasonable, Comfortable traveling
Experience:- Feeling Of Comfort, Convenience, Feeling of greater security,
Feeling Of Safety.
Functions:-safety, speed, controlling, transporting
Features:- Faster, more reliable, more comfort, smart control ,more safety.
Components:- Drives, Motors, Transformers, Coolers, Wheels, Tracks,
Controllers, Engines, Magnetic material, cables, Transmission lines, air
conditioner, inverter, rectifier, lamps, fans, etc
Customer Revalidation:-less comfort, less reliable, poor controlling.
In customer revalidation our product reviewed by the
customer that the product functioning as explained or not after the customer
review we have to modify our product as their review.

Reject, Redesigned, Retain :- Extension of tracks, Different Material,

Suspension, smooth break using eddy current.
User feel less comfort in our product due to Suspension so, we have modified it
by installing the batter suspension system, and optimised the entire braking
system for smooth break. For reliability we have chosen different material. And
for Controlling We have extended Our tracks and Optimised entire control
system.
