Tic-Tac-Toe

DUE: 10/14

Choose one activity for ELA homework for a total of three activities this week
(Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday). The three activities that you choose must be in
a row. On Friday, there will be a spelling test (top list) and a vocabulary quiz
(bottom list). Dictionaries & thesauruses can be borrowed from school if needed.
Choose 10 of your spelling words.
Write exclamations sentences for
5 of the words and commands
sentences for the other 5 words.
Make sure they are THIRD grade
sentences. There must be at least
five words in a sentence.
Underline the spelling word.

SUMMARIZE
Write a summary for your independent
reading book for tonight. Be sure to
include information about the main
character, setting, events, problem,
and solution. Use sequence words and
temporal words and phrases (After
that, The next morning, Later, etc.)

beginning, middle, and end
