BILLING & PROGRAMMING
1. The Promoter agrees that the Artiste will be billed as
pertaining to the event of which the performances herein is a part.

2. The Artist's Press Pictures shall be used in all advertising and promotion for the performance.
ARTWORK
3. All artwork must be approved by Artist Management / Primary Talent before general release.
ANNOUNCEMENT
4. The announcement of the Artists appearance must be done in conjunction with Primary and Artist Management.
TRAVEL
5. The Promoter agrees to pay return travel share to Edinburgh.

6. The Promoter agrees to provide and pay for all internal transport for the Artiste/Artistes equipment etc.
throughout the duration of this contract and from point of arrival in the country to hotel, between hotels and
venues and to point of departure from the country. Points of arrival and departure to be advised by the Artiste
not later than fourteen (14) days prior to arrival date. The Promoter agrees to provide and pay for a Professional
car service for all ground transports.

Contract terms!

ACCOMMODATION
8. The Promoter agrees to provide and pay for 4 star hotel accommodation (inclusive of breakfast), for a maximum
of 2 persons, consisting of 2 double rooms for 1 night. The Promoter must provide hotel name and website link 4
weeks before the show.
CATERING & RIDER
9. The Promoter agrees provide at their own expense 2 x Full meals prior to performance to be served at the
discretion of the Artist. Where a meal is not possible a 20 buyout per person per day must be made available.
Hotel must have prepaid Internet access, or the promoter must pay for access.
The Promoter agrees provide at their own expense, the following refreshments to be placed in the dressing room no
later than TWO (2) hours prior to performance:
1 Premium/Craft Beers
1 x Bourbon + Ginger Ale / 1 x bottle of Gin + Tonic (promoters discretion)
4 x bottled water
Selection of healthy snacks (fruit, nuts, pretzels, chips, etc)
Diet Coke
2 x hot meals
BREAKFAST MUST BE INCLUDED WITH HOTEL.

TECHNICAL RIDER
10.

(a) PA: The Promoter agrees to provide and pay for a first class PA system for this engagement at no cost to the
Artist. All necessary crew and operators are to be in attendance throughout the entire duration of the Artists
performance. The PA should have powerful bass and produce 10-12 watts per person and should be adequate
to the size and capacity of the club or festival.
(b) LIGHTING: A professional lighting system adequate to the size and style of the venue and stage is required. The
DJ booth needs to be equipped with appropriate work light both near the DJ setup and in the area where artist
equipment is placed.
(c) AUDIO ENGINEERING: A professional sound engineer who is either in-house at the venue or fully versed in the
sound system for the event will be present during sound check and throughout the duration of the Artists set.
Artist requests access to the remote mixing console before and during the performance.
(d) MONITORING: 2 x monitors, with suitable amplification, are to be provided at Artists ear level and must be
operable from the DJ mixer.

(e) STAGE/BOOTH SETUP: The DJ console must be secure and a Zero Vibration environment. To ensure the
construction is vibration-free, please provide foam or concrete blocks.
(f) EQUIPMENT: The Promoter agrees to provide for the following technical equipment at no cost to the Artist:
2 x Pioneer CDJ 2000s (linked)
1 x Pioneer DJM 900/800
PERFORMANCE TIME
11. The Artist will play a maximum set length of 90 mins minimum.
GUEST LIST
12. The Artist is to have a guaranteed guest list of a minimum of 10 people.
SPONSORSHIP

13. The Promoter will ensure that no sponsorship of any sort or description shall be made without specific written
agreement of the Artist. If sponsorship is agreed the sponsorship monies will be split with the artists in a manner
to be agreed with the artists representative dependent on type of sponsorship.
RADIO, TELEVISION & PHOTOGRAPHY
14. The Management will ensure that no audio or visual recording or photography of any kind for any purpose is
made of the Artiste's performance, without written permission from the Artiste.
SECURITY
15. The Management shall guarantee proper security at all times to ensure the safety of the Artiste, auxiliary
personnel, instruments and all equipment, costumes and personal property during and after the performance.
Particular security must be provided in the areas of the stage, dressing rooms and all exits and entrances to the
auditorium and the remote mixing console. Security protection to commence upon the arrival of the Artiste on
the premises.
ITINERARY
16. The Promoter to provide a full itinerary with names, addresses and phone numbers of hotels and venues, also
arrival and playing times. The itinerary to be with Primary Talent one month prior to show date.
CANCELLATION
17.1 In any of the circumstances set out below the Artist may in its entire discretion cancel the appearance(s) in
which event the Artist will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss including without limitation any consequential
loss damage expense or liability which may be suffered by the Promoter due to such cancellation.
17.2 The Artist shall have the right without prejudice to any other rights the Artist may have, to cancel the
appearance(s) under this Agreement if:
(a) the Promoter becomes insolvent or has a receiving or administration order made or threatened against any part
of its undertaking or makes any arrangement with its creditors or passes a winding-up resolution; or
(b) the Promoter fails to provide any material part of any equipment, facilities, accommodation, information, services
or finance which the Promoter is required to provide under the terms of this Agreement. For the avoidance of
doubt the Artist shall have the right to cancel if all or any part of any sum required by this Agreement to be paid
by the Promoter is not paid in full on or before the date(s) due hereunder for payment, time being of the essence
for each such payment; or
(c) the condition of any equipment or facilities to be provided by the Promoter under this Agreement renders it
inadvisable in the reasonable opinion of the Artist to present any appearance hereunder in its entirety; or
(d) any occurrence or factor (such as unsafe staging or disruptive elements in the audience) makes it likely in the
reasonable opinion of the Artist that all or any part of any appearance(s) cannot be performed without risk to the
health or safety of the Artist or of any musicians or road crew engaged on behalf of the Artist in relation to the
appearance(s) or the audience; or

(e) there is any actual or threatened breach by the Promoter of any material term of this Agreement; or
(f) the illness or incapacity of the Artist (or of any member of the Artists band or entourage or any member of the
Artists immediate family) makes it inappropriate in the reasonable opinion of the Artist for the Artist to perform;
or
(g) any of the technical, security or administrative staff at any venue(s), the stage hands, or any road crew are
prevented for any reason from performing their duties relating to any appearance(s) to the reasonable
satisfaction of the Artist; or
(h) the breakdown or failure of the transportation of the Artist and/or of any musicians, road crew or equipment
required by the Artist for the appearance(s) renders it impossible in the reasonable opinion of the Artist to
satisfactorily present (an) appearance(s) hereunder; or
(i) any order or instruction of any public authority, bye-law or venue regulation renders it impossible in the opinion of
the Artist to present any appearance(s) in its/their entirety; or
(j) any act of God or natural causes including but not limited to climatic conditions, terrorist acts or the anticipation
thereof, fire, flood, disease or epidemic, riot or public disorder, substantial interruption in or substantial delay to
or failure of any facilities or transportation renders it impossible in the reasonable opinion of the Artist for any
appearance(s) hereunder to be presented in its/their entirety to the satisfaction of the Artist or may endanger the
safety of the Artist or any persons engaged to appear with the Artist hereunder or the audience.
17.3 In the event of cancellation pursuant to sub-clauses 17.2(a), (b), (c), (d) or (e) of this clause, the Artist shall
retain any payment(s) made on account of the Salary and any other payments due from the Promoter hereunder
and the Promoter shall remain obliged to pay and shall immediately pay to the Artist any monies owing to the
Artist including without limitation any unpaid balance of the full amount of the Salary together with all other sums
due from the Promoter hereunder.
17.4 In the event of cancellation pursuant to sub-clause 17.2(f) of this clause the Artist shall return any part of the
Salary paid to the Artist relating to the cancelled appearance(s) and the Promoter shall not be obliged to make
any further payment to the Artist and the Promoter and the Artist shall use their reasonable commercial efforts to
mutually agree (an) alternate performance date(s) for such cancelled appearance(s).
17.5 In the event of cancellation pursuant to sub-clauses 17.2(f), (g), (h), (i) or (j) of this clause the promoter and the
Artist shall use their reasonable commercial efforts to mutually agree (an) alternate performance date(s) for such
cancelled appearance(s). The Artist shall retain in the interim all funds which have been received into the Artists
designated bank account(s) prior to such cancellation pending such agreement (and thereafter until the newly
arranged appearance(s) has/have taken place in accordance with the terms of this Agreement) but if such
alternate dates cannot be agreed to the satisfaction of both parties [within three (3) months after the date of such
cancellation] [in time for all of the necessary arrangements for such performances to be put in place] then the
Artist shall promptly return to the Promoter all such funds received into the Artists designated bank account(s) at
the date of such cancellation less the amount of all costs or expenses incurred by the Artist in connection with
such cancellation.
17.6 Where cancellation affects less than all of the scheduled appearance(s) and where the fee breakdown is not
specified in the contract then for the purposes of calculating the balance payable or returnable (as the case may
be) the Salary shall be divided equally between all the scheduled appearance(s).
