    Overview of Airport Management

    Third lecture covered the Airport Services provided by PCAA in detail. This lecture
    was helpful in providing understanding how ASF makes sure of security when a
    passenger enters airport followed by CAR parking & trolley services provided by
    PCAA. In addition to that, how the authority manages the concourse area to
    facilitate the passengers. Space is provided to various airline operators preceded by
    an electronic and manual body search check by the ASF officials before a boarding
    pass can be issued by the relevant operator. The passengers have to go yet again
    another security check set up by the ASF officials and through Immigrations in case
    of International Flights prior to making it to the departing lounge, a sitting area
    setup by PCAA for the comfort and care of its passengers. Here different lounges
    can be spotted along with duty free shops liaison by the Commercial Division.
    In case of Arrival of Passengers from various destinations, PCAA has set up various
    arrival lounges accordingly. The passengers have yet to go through Immigration and
    ANF checks in case of arrival from international destinations. Upon successful check,
    the passengers are ready to move on to meters and greeters area, car parking and
    taxi stand.
