    On behalf of all of us at the Board


    of Governors, I would like to thank
    you for all your work this week.
    We are certain that the process of
    inspection results in constructive
    and developmental progress for
    our college and our learners
    We look forward to working with
    you and the College Leadership
    Team to build an outstanding
    college we can all be proud of.
    We are on a journey and this
    thorough assessment enables us
    to move forward positively.

    Timeline
    We have had verbal feedback
    We will receive an initial report to check
    for accuracy
    This report will then be finalised
    When the report is published and only
    then we are able to share

    Key points from verbal feedback


    Outcome for learners- continue to be
    inadequate
    Learners have not made enough progress
    to show anything different as yet
    Proportion of learners in study programme
    is below similar colleges and national rate
    Too many learners do not make good
    progress against their starting points

    Poor quality of data to affect progress and

    Main issues are:
    Improving lesson planning and ensuring all
    learners are making- and we are tracking

    New Safeguarding action plan started

    Things within our power we must get on and do
    We have a window of opportunity now and we
    must grasp it
