Claude Monet Webercise

In Lesson 2: Webercise, we will be using the computers to complete the assignment. You will
have the opportunity to be introduced to an artist. You will be directed to certain sources to
collect information and you will research and analyze the work of an artist and write about
the artists distinctive style and its contributions to the meaning of the work. We will use the
whole class period to complete this assignment. If you dont finish during class time than you
will have to finish it for homework. Stay on task and use the web safely.

Your Turn to Critique and Analyze


Now that you have done some research, answered questions, and watched some videos,
you should be ready to analyze and critique one of Claude Monets paintings.

Drawing Activity
In this Last Section you will create an image of your choice. You will draw your image using
the computer program SKETCHPAD. In your drawing you must include at least 2 principles
of design. You must include some kind of representation of Claude Monets style in your
drawing. Before you start your drawing spend about 2-5 minutes practicing using the
Sketchpad tools. When you finish your drawing you need to Save your drawing and Print It
Out. If you dont finish, make sure you save your drawing and you will have to finish it at
home. (Make Sure to Save Your Work).
