PRODUCT DATA SHEET OPTIROC OPTIROC HGG 70SP is specially formulated for spiral connectors and high performance strength requirements with non shrink properties for pressure grouting or pouring purpose. It can be used immediately with the addition of water using either a hand-held mixer or a mechanical mixer producing a good flowing or fluid grout. APPLICATION AREA OPTIROC H&G 705P is used in grouting situation where high grout strenath of 70 Nemm2 and above is required and shrinkage is undesirable. It is suitable for all new or old concrete substrates, repairs to concrete structures, grouting or joining precast wall panels, beams and columns, grouting or fill up voids and narrow gaps, underplate grouting and anchoring grout for anchor bolts, base plates and bridge bearing plates. INSTRUCTION FOR USE Surface Preparation Surface should be structurally sound, clean, free from oil, grease, dust deposits and other contaminants that may affect adhesion. In some cases it may be necessary to roughen smooth surfaces to insure bond. Dry and porous substrates should be dampened prior application of OPTIROC HGG 70SP. For old substrates, it is recommended to apply a bonding coat using OPTIROC BONDING AGENT to enhance adhesion strength. Mixing Add the minimum or required amount of clean water, depending on the desired consistency for the application and taking the ambient temperature into consideration, to OPTIROC HGG 70SP and mix thoroughly using a hand-held or mechanical mixer for 3-7 minutes until a uniform paste is achieved and ensure the mix is free from lumps.Application Method OPTIROC HGG 70SP can be applied either by manual gravity technique or by using a suitable grout pump. For manual placement method, it should be placed preferably from one side only to avoid entrapping air pocket. Grouts should not be over-worked or over-watered causing segregati or bleeding. For grouting thickness greater than 75mm in a single casting, the addition of chipping aggregates is recommended to reduce temperature rise with the use of formwork when deem necessary. Ensure that all formworks must be firmly secured to the substrates to avoid any leakage Placing is recommended to be completed within 30 - 45 minutes after mixing. Curing After grouting has been completed, exposed grout surfaces should have proper curing either with water or curing compound, PACKAGING OPTIROC HGG 70SP is packed in 25 kg bag STORAGE it has a shelf life of up to 6 months from the date of production when stored in dry place free from moisture contact in original sealed packing.
