1. Have you transferred your citizenship in heaven? If so, how
do you promote heavens interest on earth in your day to day
activities? If not, pray for the Holy Spirit to guide you and
help you set your mind on the things above.
1. (a) Paul said that a believer has died when he is crucified with
Christ in Verse 3. What does it mean when a believer has died?

3. APPLICATION
(a) Knowing that Christ has freed you from sin and has given
you a new life (spiritual) when you believed, how may you
commit your life to Him? Please enumerate specific ways
for your commitment.

meaning of this event and remove any fear, anxiety,
resistance or cynicism that you may have about it.

4. APPLICATION
(a) What are the things in your life today that you desire, that
you put your confidence in, and that you devote most of
your time with? Do these things, activities, thoughts or
desires hinder you from getting closer to God?
If yes, pray for the Holy Spirit to help you reflect and
discover the reason behind your attachment to them to
prevent these from becoming your idol.
If no, pray to the Holy Spirit to continue to guide you that
what you desire, think of and put confidence in will
strengthen your relationship with Christ.
1. (a) After putting to death their old self, Paul told the Colossians
to put on their new self. How will their new self be renewed in
