    Responsible for the activities of daily living such as
    diaper care, meals, drinks, bottle feedings, nap/rest time,
    personal hygiene including baths as needed, medication
    distribution and other daily care necessities.
    Most frequently work with preschool children who have
    not yet enrolled in kindergarten. May also work with
    slightly older children outside of traditional school hours.
    Organize daily activities to help aid in educational, social
    and developmental growth.
    Continually provide compassionate but firm care specific
    to each child/adults behavioral needs.
    Communicate accordingly with each primary caregiver
    on routine activities as well as behavioral,
    developmental, physical and health changes.
    Monitor health and vital signs while reacting according to
    the specific need. Including but certainly not limited to
    fevers, rashes, ear infections, teething and other
    childhood illnesses; also including basic life support for
    common hazards such as choking, drowning, falls,
    trauma and other injuries.
