before starting, or use an external battery, or
TRU-TEST power adapter.
Note: The Indicator automatically calibrates itself to TRU-TEST
EziFeet.
Operation
1. Press . The scale normally zeroes on power up
and then displays zero weight. (See section on zeroing.) then
2. Move the animal onto the platform or crate.
Fine Weighing
Fine weighing allows measurement of weights up to 100kg (200lb) with weight changes as small as 0.1kg (0.2lb).
Keys
Sets automatic zeroing (on or off). Turns the Indicator on (or returns to live
weight display).
Sets fine weighing (on or off). Zeroes the scale. See section on zeroing.

Installing EziFeet
The four EziFeet should be attached to a platform or crate which
does not flex even with heavy animals. A level concrete site is
advised to minimise twisting effects which may cause inaccurate
weighing.
The EziFeet should be fixed as near to each of the four corners of
the platform / crate as practicable ensuring that the cables point
inwards as illustrated in the diagram on the left below.
The cables should be gathered together underneath the platform to ensure that they are not damaged by animals
standing on them or chewing them. Plastic zip-ties are provided for this.
The following diagrams show common methods of attaching EziFeet to platforms and crates.
Direct Crate Attachment Welded Angle Attachment Direct Platform Attachment
Adjust the height of the locking nuts so that the platform rests evenly on all four EziFeet (ie. does not rock). The
locking nuts should be tightened until they grip the platform / crate base firmly. Ensure a minimum clearance of 10mm
(3/8") is maintained between the EziFeet housing and the platform.
Lower the platform / crate carefully into position on the weighing site.
WARNING DROPPING THE PLATFORM OR CRATE WILL CAUSE SHOCK OVERLOADING OF THE EZIFEET.
DO NOT WELD PLATFORM WITH EZIFEET ATTACHED.
When the platform is in the correct position, the EziFeet should sit flat and not appear twisted or skewed.
If weighing large extremely active animals it may be necessary to restrain the EziFeet to prevent excessive movement
of the platform / crate. This can be achieved as follows:
