In my lesson the children are using clothes pins with letters on them and
matching the letters to the words on the note card. This lesson allows them to
practice letter recognition and early literacy. By seeing the letters from the alphabet
and making words out of them, the children are practicing literacy. This activity
helps the children understand and read the words that they use in their everyday
language.
