    The basic but brilliant option

    Functionality and performance is offered by the basic VN731PC model. For beginners the new Simple Mode displays only the
    essential information in large font and limits the menu options. Normal Mode offers full functionality for more advanced users. The
    large, omnidirectional, lownoise microphone records sounds from all directions with less noise and reduced breath sound. The
    recorder is equipped with a builtin stand on the back for convenient desktop use to reduce surface noise. Two modes have been
    added to Scene Select for optimizing recordings of telephone conversations and duplicating cassette tapes.

    For those who want the convenience of having their spoken words automatically converted into text, the DNS version for the
    VN731PC DNS bundles Dragon Naturally Speaking 12 Recorder Edition speech recognition software to make things easy.
    Languages supported are EN, FR, IT, DE, ES, NL.
