    SPIRIT AEROSYSTEM

    1. WHAT ARE THE COMPANY?

    SPIRIT AEROSYSTEM. The company was formed when Boeing Commercial Airplanes
    sold its Wichita division to investment firm Onex. The Wichita division was responsible
    for construction of many important aircraft in Boeings history including the B-29
    Superfortress, B-47 Stratojet and B-52Stratofortess. Currently based in Wichita Kansas
    United States of America and the world largest First-tier aerostructures manufacturer

    2. WHERE IS THE COMPANY?


    Based in Wichita Kansas United States OF America and has a manufacturing plant in
    Malaysia located at Lapangan Terbang Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, Subang, Selangor,
    Malaysia
    3. WHAT IS THE COMPANY MAIN ACTIVITY AND PROJECT

    Spirit AeroSystem Design and Builds Aerostructures for both commercial and defense
    aircrafts. The main activity of the company is to produce Fuselages, Pylons, Nacelles
    and Wing components. Spirit Aerosystem focuses on affordable, innovativecomposite
    and aluminium manufacturing solutions to support customers around the globe. The
    company latest project is it has accepted and invitation to join NASA`s Advance
    composites Consortium (ACC) as a Tier 1 member. The ACC is a public-private
    partnership that focuses on progressing knowledge about composite materials and
    improving performance of future aircrafts.
    9. WELDING

    TSM Welding Technologies Group


    i. A pioneer in welding industries in Malaysia that involves aerospace welding using
    robotic welding system which is fully automated by machines.
    ii. Other than aerospace, they also provide the service for automotive industries,
    motorcycle industries and many more.
    iii. They produced few products such as chemical apparatus engineering, fitting industry
    and also medical equipment manufacturer.

    10. ASSEMBLY

    CTRM Aviation Sdn Bhd


    i. Founded in February 1990 as a manufacturing and assembly industries.
    ii. Provide necessary manufacturing but also provide services for certain small aircraft
    parts as a primary assemblement before sending the main aircraft assembly industry
    iii. Assembly the composites of light aircraft, the Eagle 150B
    11. JIGS AND FIXTURES

    All Star Fortress Sdn Bhd


    i. Founded in 20th June 2013 as a supplier for varities of special tools.
    ii. Manafacturer of precision tooling, transfer mold parts, jigs and fixtures for the
    aerospace industries that requires the allocated tools
    iii. They also provide custom make, fabrication tools and dies according to customer
    requirements.

    12. SURFACE TREATMENT

    Asahi Aero Malaysia Sdn Bhd


    i. Established in March 25th 2015 as a specialize in surface treatments for aerospace
    parts.
    ii. Asahi Aero is an aerospace parts manufacturing company but also provide special
    process such as surface treatments.
    iii. The surface treatment service is one of the best service in Malaysia when it is related
    to the aerospace industires.
    13. HEAT TREATMENT

    TOHKEN(M) SDN BHD


    I. Started in Apr 1997 to carry out a big contribution to the industry in heat
    treatment and pvd coating machinery
    II. The company specialize quality heat treatment for Quench, Temper, Carburize,
    Vacuum Heat Treatment, Gas Nitride, PVD Coating for machinery parts,
    Automobile part and motorcycle parts
    III. The company is certified by TUVRHEINLAND and ACM UKAS.
