Our project is a result of sustained effort coupled with the abidance from our institution. Our
faculty for Interactive Media and Web Technology handed us the assignment and explained
what is expected from us. He clearly defined the goal, expected outcome and deliverables of
this project. We would like to sincerely thank our institution for providing a high-speed
internet connection which enabled us to upload our pages to online hosting sites. We would
also like to acknowledge our hosting partner website for hosting our web-pages online. We
would like to acknowledge our IT department for helping in installing tools such as
Dreamweaver on our laptops. We also convey our regards to our university for giving
suggestions and specifying the tools to be used in this project which helped us much in
development of our system.

Abstract
To give a brief outlook of project and explain what it includes this documentation is done.
This documentation intends to explain about the tasks done and the way it was done in the
assignment. It explains the tasks one by one and importance of each task in completion of
project. Every single task of our project has been documented. We observed that the
documentation would make people aware of the concept we are trying to implement in our
project. It would make them aware of the project aim, goals and objectives. Through
documenting our project we were able to find the scope and limitations of our system. We
were able to see many elements could be added to our system. Thereby we concluded that our
system is now following default attributes to which people are used to and we have to give
new looks and feel after our system gain popularity. Also we inferred that there is much
scope for improvement in our system.

Introduction
We have created sample homepage, online news, online magazine, online forum, and online
auction sort of web pages to fulfil the requirements of the assignment and to illustrate our
learning as well. The system including these pages is designed similar to a web ring to ensure
the continuity in pages thereby conforming to goal of increasing user-friendliness. We have
made the homepage which serves as an index page for browsing our system of pages. Our
homepage provide link to web pages present inside our system and all pages have a link to
again connect to home. We have also designed the online news page which would update
regularly on a periodic basis. The scope of the online news would be kept low at first and
later slowly but surely it would be made high. We also designed online auction pages which
auctioned many products and we except higher user traffic in those web pages. We have also
made online magazine which would resemble any other magazine page. We have not made
it with a new innovative look because we felt at initial stages people would not prefer to
accept a difference and thus giving new look would be done later. There is much more things
to improve in our online magazine about which we have discussed in later sections. We have
also prepared an online forum which would be characterised with innovation. In all our web
pages we have used the same basic layout which we think would be a big plus. We have
made the best out of our potential to follow The web pages were hosted through online
hosting websites and could be accessed worldwide through World Wide Web (www).

Evaluation:
The project makes the optimal of our efforts and our ideas, thoughts and concepts.
The web pages are having an attractive frame. The web pages are well presented to user in
good form and its page quality is also fine. All navigation features works good thereby
making a perfect web-ring. Consistency is well maintained through similar format in menus
and command present in the pages. The user-friendliness of the project is proved with
predictable functions of commands. All default features are there to make sure that user
familiarly exist. User communication initially proved to be a shortfall and we made sure to
rectify it to make our system effective. Absence of help options, user diversity features,
efficient recoverability features proved to be a major drawback. We had failed to complete
the task of running an online newsletter along with our magazine. We were unable to do this
because those things require server side scripting and since we were new bees to web
designing we were unable to go beyond limits of utilising basic author wares and scripting
languages. User interface design concepts and follow similar approach and could feel the
impact in the system.

Further enhancements:
We would like to add more features to our system in near future. We would to like to run an
online newsletter with automated email delivery. In case of online magazine we would like to
add e-magazine in a printable pdf format also. We would like to have comment boxes,
message board, chat options in or website in near future. We would like to provide user
accounts along with offering privacy and security features to users. For making t to reality we
would need to know about maintaining a database and some advanced scripting languages
like CSS, Perl, and ASP .We would also require knowledge in .NET, framework VB
scripting, writing java scripts etc... We also want to enable some more features and provide
options like zoom font size, narrator etc... The system enhancements would also follow the
approach which would ensure keeping track with the user interface design principles.
