Departingfromtheconcernstowardthechallengeandopportunitiesof
Indonesia,IndonesianScholarsInternationalConvention(ISIC)whichinitially
knownasIndonesianStudentsInternationalScientificMeetingorTemuIlmiah
InternasionalMahasiswaIndonesia(TIIMI)hasbeenbeingheldannuallysince
2001.ThiseventisadministeredbyIndonesianstudentswhohavethe
opportunitiestostudyabroad.

ThemainaimofthiseventistoprovideanextendedroomforIndonesian
studentsinpresentingtheirideasforresolvingthechallengesandpromoting
innovations.Inthelast15years,ISIChasstrengtheneditsroleinthoseareasand
willcontinueencouragingIndonesianscholarsrisingtheirvoices.

EventhoughtheoutcomesofISIC2016academicconferencemaynotprovide
immediateimpacts,itisbelievedthatthiseventwillgivecouragetoIndonesian
scholarstomakepositivecontributionsforthecountry.ISIC2016willgather
variousexpertisefromvariousfieldstoexchangeideaswithIndonesianscholars
intheareaofpovertyeradication,foodsecurity,healthandwell
being,stateand
societydevelopment,innovationandtechnology,audit,accountingandfinance,
infrastructureengineeringandmanagement,demographyandsocialchange,
macroandtradepolicyandenvironmentandsustainablelivelihood.

MAIN GOALS

1. Bringing Indonesian Students and expertise from various background to


share knowledge and ideas about the current obstacles that challenge
Indonesia form prosperity
2. Empowering youth to take part in developing Indonesia and
provide Indonesian scholars opportunities to present their
research in an international scale conference.

3. Promoting Indonesias diversified culture to the international society.

DELEGATION'S PROFIL

AMRIAL
Amrial is a third year undergraduate student of Islamic
Economics, University of Indonesia. He is very like studying
and writing an academic paper. He has good conceptual
skills and aims to be a regulator in the future. He has
interest in Islamic Economics and Poverty Economics. He
also has a special interest in social entrepreneurship, as
currently he is developing a student Baitul Mal wat Tamwil
for FEB UI. He also has several academic achievements
from paper and researches such as first winner for PKM GT,
second winner for PKM P, and third winner for critical essay
in Student Research Days FEB UI 2016. Nonacademically,
he was the CEO of The 15th Sharia Economics Days FEB UI.
Now he is also working on Islamic Business and Economics
Community and Islamic Studies Forum FEB UI.

ARDANU BAGAS WICAKSONO


Ardanu Bagas Wicaksono is a seventh- semester
undergraduate student of Islamic Economics, Universitas
Indonesia. He has a special interest in social and
philantrophical aspects of Islamic Economics, such as
zakat, infaq, waqf and sadaqah, as currently he is an intern
at BWI (Badan Wakaf Indonesia). He also has several
academic achievements from paper and researches such as
first winner for PKM GT and second winner for PKM P in
Student Research Days FEB UI 2016. Nonacademically, he
has also previously contributed to Islamic Business and
Economics Community and Islamic Studies Forum FEB UI.
Currently he is developing a student Baitul Mal wat Tamwil
for FEB UI.

TERM OF PAYMENT
1. There will be a memorandum of understanding between Universitas
Indonesia Delegation for ISIC 2016 and the sponsors to configure the
payment mechanism and the related issues.

2. In general, companies which agree in becoming the sponsor is


required to provide at least 75% of the payment in D-15 before the
departure of Universitas Indonesia Delegation, and the rest 25% can be
paid D+7 after the conference.

3. The documentations and the reports will be sent to the sponsoring


companies or institutions D+15 after the conference.
