Ocean View was created in 1947 by King Tritan, when Ariel
wanted to live on land and impress Prince Eric. Tritan wanted to
convince his daughter to stay in the ocean. Ocean View is
re-introduced by JMU hospitality students in 2016.

Strengths No other aquarium themed hotel in Panama City. Locally caught fish offered
in the restaurant. Restaurant, spa and amenities make the stay so comfortable that guests
will not need to leave the premise at all on their vacation if they choose. Located less
than 15 minutes from both the airport and downtown Panama City Beach.
Weaknesses Can be pricey for some families, not walking distance from downtown
Panama City Beach, expensive maintenance and aquarium upkeep. Wifi bandwidth must
accommodate large occupancy.
Opportunities Charge non-guests money for aquarium. Ocean
Threats Natural threats such as hurricanes. Threat of a similar
