Description of the Activity
Teachers will provide the definition of natural, odd and even numbers. Then, teachers will provide some examples of even and odd numbers using divisibility rules. After that, they will ask to students to come up and solve some exercises.
Natural numbers: Natural numbers are those used for counting and ordering. Begin the natural numbers with 0, then 1,2,3,4,...
Odd numbers: Odd number is any integer (not fraction) that cannot be divided exactly by 2. 4
-1, 1, 3, 5, 7 ,9,...
Even numbers:
Even number is any integer that can be divided exactly by 2.
