At ACAC our mission is Following Jesus in Diverse Community. and Jesus

made it clear, those who follow Him will become fishers of men. Thats why
many of our members have followed Him to cultures other than their own.
Some of them serve with our parent organization The Christian and
Missionary Alliance. Its considered one of the most effective missions
organizations in the world. Theyre supported by your gifts to the Great
Commission Fund (GCF). Others serve with different organizations. We call
them our Gospel Messengers. Theyre supported by your gifts to the fund that
bears that name.

This publication is designed to increase your awareness of these servants and

the exciting things God is accomplishing through them. We also hope it will
encourage you to pray for them - as if they were members of your family or
your closest friends - and, where safe, write to express your appreciation. We
hope it will remind you your gifts make a difference. Finally, we hope youll
consider increased your financial participation in Gods mission of restoring
broken people. Jesus gave His life for us, and those who follow Him closely see
giving as privilege.

 MISSIONS COMMITTEE

Dear ACAC family,

Our God is a missionary God. ACAC is part of the U.S. Christian & Missionary Alliance
(C&MA), part of a Christ-centered global movement more than 6 million strong. Over
the years we have observed ACACs love for people lost without Christ and a passion to
have the Good News shared in our Jerusalem (local), Judea (regional), Samaria (people
different from us) and to the remotest part of the earth. This has been demonstrated
by going, giving (money, time, abilities, and energy), sending and praying.
Going ACAC-sponsored short-term missions trips and teams have gone to France,
Mexico, Guatemala, Kenya, Gabon and Democratic Republic of the Congo with many
1st time participants.
Giving Through your generosity, ACAC contributed over $500,000 to our
denominations Great Commission Fund. This supports over 700 missionaries all
around the globe. Your giving also provided support to over 20 individuals or couples
that consider ACAC their home church and who are associated with other local,
national, and international Gospel-focused non-profit organizations. $34,000 was sent
to provide relief and minister to Syrian Refugees. We helped support a pastor at a
church plant in Kiev (Ukraine) and blessed Great Commission workers and Gospel
Messengers with a Christmas gift.
Sending - A young couple interned in a creative-access country. A young woman has
decided to work with an organization that helps Muslims follow Jesus. Another is
preparing to serve full-time with the C&MA. We have 20 young people working their
way towards full-time missionary work.
Praying One of the C&MAs core values is Prayer is the primary work of Gods people.
Our ACAC workers depend on us to undergird them and their respective ministries
with prayer. Use this guide to familiarize yourselves with and to pray intelligently for
them.
Thank you for your participation in fulfilling the Great Commission, your generous
hearts, and your faithfulness to our God to take this Gospel to the whole world.

Made
As a congregation, our practice is not to identify a specific dollar amount
or percentage to give to missions from regular donations to our general
operating fund. Rather, we trust each member to prayerfully consider
what amounts God would have him/her give to missions, separate and
distinct from donations to support the local assembly. The total amount of
all gifts so designated toward missions (on the check or giving envelope)
are promptly forwarded to the C&MA's Great Commission Fund or to the
appropriate International Workers account or sending agency.

Teaching, encouraging, and challenging our members to support Gods mission in the world is a priority at
ACAC. Every believer should be involved in taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to all the nations and giving to
support missions efforts is a vital part of this involvement. Thats why our Missions Committee has set an
ambitious goal for missions giving; specifically, that 100% of those who donate regularly to ACACs local
church ministries also set aside additional gifts to support the work of world missions. Simply put, our goal
is to have everyone involved in the financial support of global missions.

Please know that you can continue to give directly to the Great Commission Fund, Gospel Messenger Fund,
Student Mission Opportunities Fund, or other ACAC Partnership Funds. You can also give directly to help
outfit a specific Alliance international worker or to the work of a specific Gospel Messenger.

Update from C-House: Along with our partners on the ground, "Pearl", as well as
our new ENVISION team, last November we opened a shared Community Center
in the heart of the city. We are using this wonderful space to minister on a
personal basis to the women who are in sexual exploitation in street
prostitution in secluded industrial areas.

At the Center, they know they'll be safe and without time constraints to chat,
seek advice and assistance with various needs during 'off' hours.
We also are offering courses along with a free fellowship meal once a week. We
can add more such events over time, as well as using the space for prayer
meetings and volunteer training events. We praise God for this blessing!

Prayer requests:
~Larry & Krista Lain and their 3 children as they study the language and adapt
to their new life in Spain after many years serving in Mongolia
~Pray for safety for the team members that work directly with the women still
in sexual slavery. This is work that directly confronts the powers of darkness
and involves great spiritual warfare. We NEED your prayers!!!
~Pray for future Envision workers to join our efforts on the ground. Pray that
God will bring us people well trained and mature enough to handle the
spiritual challenges of this work.
~Pray for a Sub Saharan widower with 3 small children stuck in Morocco that
the Pearl Project is going to assist longer term, so his children can go to school
without being forced to pray to Allah during school times. He wants to raise his
children as Christians.

Andrianoff Activities and Prayer Requests

- I continue to seek opportunities to drink coffee or tea or share a

meal with pastors and church leaders in Asia and in North
America. Pray that through these interactions these individuals
would experience Jesus and his love.

- I also seek to create opportunities for individuals, organizations

and churches to work together. We best serve Gods kingdom by
serving together in partnership. Pray for even more unity in the
Body of Christ.
- Over the past year I have made slow but steady progress in
compiling a missionary history of the Protestant church in Laos.
Pray for sensitivity to what God has done within His body in Laos.
Pray for consistency and persistence to complete this task.

- I continue to participate in InterVarsity Christian Fellowships

annual HC3 (Hmong Christian Collegiate Conference). There I find
young college students committed to following and serving Jesus
Christ. Pray that God would touch lives, bringing young people
into His kingdom and His service.
- This past year I re-connected with the Hmong District of the
Christian and Missionary Alliance at the District Conference in
relatively near-by Spokane, WA. I had attended the first
organizing conference in 1978, and again in 1982, but then not
again until this year. I came away excited by what God is doing
through the Hmong believers in North America. Pray that God
would use the Hmong District to serve His kingdom in North
America and around the world through their missionaries.

- This summer I accepted an invitation to serve part-time at the

county Department of Emergency Management. As program
coordinator for community operations I have the opportunity to
interact with communities throughout Jefferson Countythe most
unchurched county in the U.S. Pray that in my interactions with
communities and individuals others would see Jesus.

- The beginning of this year Jean retired from working at the

physical therapy office. This enables her to join me on my annual
visits to Asia. It also gives her more time to write. Pray that God
will use us to encourage others.

After a year of serving with Remember Nhu, Kelly

returned to the states to care for her mom who was
diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She
currently is the caregiver for her mom who continues to
decline. When she returns to Cambodia she will resume
her role as computer teacher and short term team co-
coordinator. She will most likely take on other
responsibilities as her current team leaders, Mark and
Kerry, hope to open new homes in Brazil and perhaps
Nepal, limiting their time in Cambodia.
They had a precious couple, Joe and Heidi, come a
couple of weeks before Kelly returned to the states and
they planned and built raised garden beds. They had
some help from short-term teams but they were the
masterminds and brought the plan to fruition.
The main home had some modifications done to it.Two
classrooms and an office were added to the large open
space as you walked into the home. With some extra
ministry money, a teacher was hired to help the girls
with their schooling. Emma, who I had on my prayer
list, finished raising her support and is now in
Cambodia. She will be teaching the children English.

Prayer requests:
- Kelly will be a blessing to her mom for the
time she has left.
- Her moms affairs can be quickly wrapped
up.
- When she returns to Cambodia, she will be
able to recover the language that she lost
while in the states and she will continue
learning it.
- The new teacher will be a good fit for
teaching the girls and helping them with
their studies.
- Guidance and timing for Mark and Kerry as
they move forward to start new homes.

Chris Russell serves as Childrens Ministry Director for Commission To Every Nation in the Peten area of
Guatemala. Chris grew up in Delmont. He felt called to be a missionary as a senior in high school. God
continued to confirm that calling and prepare his heart in many ways, even as he spent 13 years as an
elementary school teacher. During that time, Chris also began to attend ACAC where he was involved
in the Young Adult Ministry.

Ministry Aspects/Goals:
- New Generation is the name of Chris ministry and that is the objective teach and raise up a new
generation of children, youth and young adults that is living for God wholeheartedly.
- Chris has three Guatemalan employees and their normal daily activities include ministry in 17 local
elementary schools, 9 neighborhoods, weekly Friday afternoon evangelistic activities, and ministry to
local youth and young adults.
- They also minister in a nearby area know as Remate and two villages, Centro
Campesino and El Limon, as well as others when possible.
- Daily activities in the local schools consist of visits during recess to encourage the students, a
reading program for grades 1 4, general help for the school, and evangelistic activities.
- The normal Friday activities were moved to a nearby school this year and the plan is to do some
renovation of the school property to further advance the ministry. For example, Chris desire is to
construct a nice playground, which would benefit the activities greatly.

Prayer Requests:
- Intimacy in Chris daily walk with God and that he can hear clearly the Lords
direction for his life and ministry.
- Gods power to be displayed during the weekly activities.
- Conviction and spiritual transformation specifically for the youth who are assisting
the youth ministry. Many are not from local churches and are seeking God.
- Purchase of land for a future building project.
- Godly local youth to assist the ministry.
- The finances necessary for projects in the local schools and the building project.

After prayerful consideration, the Bemms will be based

in Pittsburgh for the next 3+ years due to difficult family

circumstances, after spending the last 13 years at Tenwek

Hospital in Kenya in medical ministry, children's

ministry, and caring for vulnerable children and families.

They will remain in ministry with World Gospel Mission

(WGM) as Chuck returns to the East Liberty Family Health

Care Center to help establish a new clinic in the Hill

District working as a pediatrician. They hope to continue

to support orphans, national missionaries, and a new

home for orphans with special needs in Kenya through

WGM. They are extremely grateful for the past 15 years of

faithful support from ACAC, and they request continued

prayers for their family.

The Blanchards live in Cambodia and are serving

as C&MA marketplace ministries missionaries with
Agape International Missions (AIM). AIM is a
Christian anti-trafficking organization that works
to prevent human trafficking in Cambodia and to
rescue, restore, and reintegrate trafficking
survivors.
Josh works as the field media director, helping to
tell the story of God's work through video and
photography. He is also working towards using
media as a tool to prevent trafficking in Cambodia
through TV, radio, and internet campaigns that
raise awareness and education. Josh is discipling
several young adult Cambodians as he trains
media skills and builds relationships with them.

We believe prayer is the number one weapon

against the enemy's schemes and ask that you
pray with us.

Praise and Prayer Requests:

- Continued acquisition of the Khmer
language. Jaclyn will begin part-time
language school in September 2017 and Josh
will continue learning with a tutor.
- Praise, the Blanchards have formed
friendships through church and their
community.
- Jaclyn ministers weekly to young mothers in
AIM's restoration home as well as moms in the
expat community through organizing play
groups and story-times. Pray for more
opportunities to open up for her to share the
love of Christ to other moms.
- Josh is training and discipling his assistant,
Chetra, and praying about the timing of hiring
additional staff to train and disciple.

Sandra grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from Perry High School in 1963. As a new believer
in 1963 Sandra attended ACAC until starting at Moody Bible Institute in 1965. Her parents
were also members until the Lord called them home.

After a year at Moody, she transferred to Nyack College and graduated with a BS in Elementary
Education in 1970. She worked as a second grade school teacher on Long Island, NY from 1970
until 1973 before she went to TEAM (The Evangelical Alliance Mission) as a candidate. After
spending ten months as a Missionary Intern, God brought in her financial support allowing her
to leave for Costa Rica and language study in April of 1975.

It was a wonderful week of Bible teaching and missions at ACAC in 1964 that brought about
her call to foreign missions. It was totally unexpected that God would call her, but He
confirmed that call in many ways.

Although she had to retire, God took her back to Colombia where her ministry has increased.
By His grace she has been able to see several women come to Christ and many others grow in
maturity as they have studied Gods Word these past years. It has been her joy and privilege to
see them grow and minister in their homes, share Christ with family and friends, and begin to
disciple their children and other women.
My ministry continues to be discipling women in the areas of marriage and the home as well as
doctrine.

Many of my past students have written that they are very grateful for all that they were taught.

I continue to believe that making disciples is VERY; VERY important. Many years are spent
rearing and teaching children in the home, as it should be and no one is opposed to that, but I
believe we error in not understanding that new believers need the same kind of individual
time with someone who can guide them in knowing, believing and understanding who God is
and all that He has for us and how we are to trust and worship Him with our lives.

I work mainly with women who have been saved for quite a while, but are very ignorant of the
wonderful truths about Christ and sooo many other areas.

A small pamphlet called "Children, Fun or Frenzy" in relation to God's Word has just been a
treasure for parents to guide their children and train them to obey!!!

Fanny was a "hungry" student years back and had two young sons to deal with and educate.
She believed God's word and she and her husband determined to believe Gods word and use
the rod!!! Uy! Those two sons today are pastors who in turn are teaching their people to
trust God's word in this area and many others. Fanny at times reminds and gives thanks for
what at the time (she was young in the faith) seemed to be cruel.

CHECK OUT THE BOOK AND PROVERBS! There is much more to share, but time and space are
limited.

I just had a thought! If anyone wants to know more, please send an email! It would be a
blessing to share more with individuals.

Not much more to say. My ministry continues with new students all the time and sometimes
sharing more with older ones.

Just recently I heard this from a former student whose daughter was going to marry a pilot in
the Colombian Airforce. When this man's mom heard the name Sandra Salomon, she replied,
"Oh, she's the one who taught me to respect and submit to my husband! Apparently it helped
her greatly from what I hear and that kind of testimony is a encouragement to continue on.

Kirstin discovered a personal relationship with the Lord through Campus Crusade for Christ her freshman year
at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Not only did she grow in her faith through her involvement in Cru, she
was challenged to step out in faith and saw God do incredible things. The Lord led her into vocational campus
ministry, where she has the privilege of helping students enter into a personal relationship with Christ, grow in
their faith, and step out to make His name known.

Update:
Following the Lord, in my experience, is always an adventure. As I prepare for marriage, He has once again
opened doors for a new adventure!

After nine years on campus in the US, one year on campus in Botswana, and one year in national leadership
with Global Missions, my next step in ministry is to join the campus team in Birmingham, England with Cru,
which is called Agape in the United Kingdom. My official title is once again Staff STINTer (Short Term
INTernational), as it was when I served in Gaborone, Botswana. I will serve on the West Midlands Team January
2018-July 2019.

The city and the ministry of Birmingham are actually quite similar to Pittsburgh. There are many colleges,
universities, and technical schools in the greater Birmingham area, called the West Midlands. My team focuses
on three prominent universities that are home to 61,000 students collectively. Students come, literally, from all
over the world to study here, and I am so excited to continue to cross cultures for the sake of the Gospel!
Additionally, Birmingham is traditionally a working class city that is currently reinventing itself; it's very livable;
and it is gray and rainy most days of the year. Just like Pittsburgh. :)

Even though England has a rich Christian heritage and was once a major missionary-sending nation, it is my
understanding that todays British students are even more spiritually apathetic than American students. Few
Brits know even one practicing Christian. But the Lord is moving! Students from all over the world are getting
involved in the Agape movements on their campuses even before they profess faith in Christ. Agape is a safe
place where students can Belong before they Believe, and I cannot wait to be a part it! I will spend most of
my time with non-believing students, providing them with opportunities to hear and experience the Gospel.

Praise and Prayer for the next year:

Praise the Lord for working out all of the details so I can join my fiance in the UK while continuing to serve
with Cru, taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth via the college campus.
Pray with me that the Lord will continue to provide for all of my financial needs as I build my team of
ministry partners, sell my belongings, and prepare to move to England.
Pray for me and for my new team, as I will be the only American and I will be entirely new to the city and the
style of ministry. Pray for us, too, as we launch a new movement on a new campus this fall.
On a personal note, pray for me and Adam as we prepare for our July 2018 wedding and transition into a
cross-cultural marriage.

Guy and Denise serve at Dalat International School in Penang, Malaysia. Dalat
currently has 650 students from 24 different nations around the world. A
majority of our students are from the U.S.A. and Malaysia. About half of our
students are from missionary and staff families. Guy teaches high school math.
Denise ministers in the Development Office and helps to provide a strong sense
of community to the staff, families and students who call Dalat their school.

The mission statement of Dalat is Education for life founded on a biblical

worldview. Dalats vision statement is Our students will know God and impact
their world for his glory. We feel privileged to be a part of what God is doing at
Dalat.

Guy and Denise have served in schools in South America and the Middle East.
They have four children, Meredith, Micah, Merriel and Mathias and one
granddaughter, Bela. Meredith and her husband Matt and daughter, Bela, live in
Pennsylvania. Micah and his wife, Kate, live in Alabama. Merriel is a senior at
Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa, Georgia. Mathias is ministering in Papua,
Indonesia at a school started for local children by an international worker.

With over 12 years of experience in graphic design, Patricia felt the call of God to serve
in Guatemala, so she changed directions, sort of. With technology these days, she has
the ability to create multi-media projects that will help encourage people everywhere in
their faith while working as a full time missionary in Guatemala.

Personal Update:

Over five years now in full time missions- Its so hard to believe how fast time goes.
Sometimes I look at my job and shake my head. I cant believe what I do everyday.

Que Dice la Biblia (What does the Bible say): A community center with a coffee shop
atmosphere where the community comes and listens to the audio Bible. Other
opportunities include: an audio English course, music lessons, and reading lessons; but
everyone who comes, learns to pray asking God for wisdom, listen to His Word, underline
what stands out to them and then discuss how it applies to their daily life.

This year QDLB has continued to have steady stream of attendees. This is what I am
seeing

THE CHURCHED: Those who grew up only doing church events are seeing that this is a
real living breathing relationship with God as the Word comes to life for them. As they
open up in prayer and discussion, they are finding themselves pursuing God in their
hearts, and figuring out what walking in relationship with Christ actually means.

THE UNCHURCHED: They usually come in a little uneasy with the idea of listening to the
Bible, but they do it because its part of the program. The atmosphere of QDLB is meant
to be a safe place for anyone from all walks of life. Praise God, because those who
started out feeling uneasy find that its safe to discuss what they think, and they are
finding their way. Many are coming to Jesus, just by listening to the Word. Its amazing.

My other projects are still moving forward. I still visit Remar and listen to the Bible with
them along with special activities to encourage them. Nefarious is now being recorded
in Guatemalan Spanish to help raise awareness about the dangers of human trafficking.

Media Outreach is now completed in English and in Spanish on the web and Im waiting
on clarity and Gods wisdom for the next steps to move forward with launching the
project. Media Outreach: Engage, Educate, and Encourage all people to seek out God
and a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ by enlisting the church in a
collaborative effort to employ strategic use of media.

Howard and Jan Biddulph worked in church planting in Bogota, Colombia for 33
years. Starting in university work in 1971, the Bible studies multiplied, morphing
into a house church, and then moving to a major avenue in 1985.
Today, what started as a single congregation in a strategic location has
generated 6 daughter congregations in previously unreached sectors of middle
class neighborhoods, all led by pastors trained in seminary and the mother
church.

Back in 1971, the Biddulphs felt fortunate that their arrival in the capital city
coincided with the renewal movement within the Roman Catholic Church
begun by the Second Vatican Council (1962-65). This opened doors as never
before to the study of Gods Word. Thus, the church was born and grew as God
transformed lives.

Thirty-three years later, feeling that their continuance as lead pastors might be
holding back the Colombian leadership of more than 25 seminary-trained men
and women, Howard and Jan moved back Tto Florida, serving in New Hope
Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Fort Myers as Pastor of Christian Education
and Small Groups for 8 years before moving back to Wilmore, KY.

Howard and Jan accepted the volunteer offer in 2012 from One Mission Society
and Asbury Theological Seminary to become missionaries-in-residence,
believing that their experience in discipleship and mentoring one-on-one might
be helpful in encouraging students sensing a missionary call. Three years later
several couples have been mentored and some sent over seas.

They make trips back to Colombia and Uruguay frequently. To Colombia twice a
year, for Howard as part of the Biblical Seminary of Colombia as board
representative, and both to Bogota where they check in with all the 6 daughter
churches as well as the mother church. In Uruguay they hold leadership
seminars for the church there, Also they are very active locally in First Alliance
Church in Lexington as lay shepherds.

a strategic way to spread the gospel throughout the world. Josh and Kristin Lee are
focused on sharing the gospel with international students at the University of
Kansas (KU).

Consider that at KU:

- There are 2,600 international students from 105 different countries.
- Top three sending nations are: China, Saudi Arabia and India.

- 9 out of 10 of the top sending nations are from countries in the 10/40 window
We influence international students through weekly gatherings, conversation groups,
cultural events and activities, discovery Bible groups, and more. These students will
become the future leaders of business, government, education, and medicine of their
home countries.

Joe and Melissa serve with Cru, formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ. Crus
mission is WIN students to Christ, BUILD them in their faith, and SEND them out as
lifelong laborers for Jesus. Joe and Melissa work in the regional office of Crus Mid-
Atlantic Region, serving students and faculty in PA, NJ, DE, MD, VA, WV, and DC.
They minister on the Operations Team, which plans the regions conferences, sends
students on missions trips around the world, and raises resources to fund and
enable Cru movements around the region.

Joe and Melissa have interned with Cru for the past two years and are now raising
support to join Cru as long-term missionaries.

Goals:

-To help the more than 3 million college students of our region experience and
follow Jesus Christ
-To build momentum and resources to sustain Crus growing ministry to ethnic
minority students in the Mid-Atlantic Region
-To reach the future leaders of our country with the Gospel and send them out to
use their influence for the Kingdom of God
-To become fully funded missionaries, as we are raising support full-time until we

In March, 2015 Csaba and Agnes Feher moved into a poor all-Hispanic community in North
Anaheim, CA and started an Urban Outreach ministry with Missionary Athletes International.
For kids who grow up there, police raids, drug use, and gang violence are natural parts of life.
Gangs recruit them to be drug runners as young as middle school age. The streets are full of
teenagers and young adults chilling but only a handful finish high school and most dont
work. The slumlords dont care how many live in their buildings, so often 3-4 families, 12-15
people live in the 2 bedroom apartments. The rooms are small, many sleep on the floor. Some
families rent a garage from the tenants and live there with no window, water or electricity.
The air between the houses is heavy with the stench of overflowing dumpsters and the many
layers of urine covering the asphalt that the rain only washes away a handful of times a year.
The women and girls keep having babies, but the men are just loosely connected if at all.
Some are in jail, some rotate. Those who are around rarely work, just sit in the shade. Most
adults never learn English. Some of them just came from Mexico; others have lived here for
10-20 years already.
Since Csaba and Agnes moved into that barrio, the Lord has been blessing their work in
wonderful ways. They were able to make peace with some of the local gang members and are
known and accepted by most families of the three communities they serve. Their work with the
kids in the Homework Club, giving them the assistance they cant get from their parents, is
treasured by the kids and appreciated by their families. Agnes lost her job at the beginning of
summer, so for the entire summer break their patio became a permanent place of a free and
unstructured VBS with a curriculum written by the Holy Spirit. Kids of all ages showed up at
any and all times of the day and evening and got their share of Bible stories, crafts, Veggie
Tales, Bible games and spiritual discussions. Csaba spent the summer mentoring the college
age kids and teaching them about becoming sports missionaries. He also ran several
soccer/Bible camps and started futsal training for the urban kids teaching them self-
discipline, the value of hard work, responsibility, reliability and honesty and most of all love:
the Love of the Lord for them. This is a long process, but the boys stick with the program and
keep coming back for more even when it is hard. They just formed the first real Urban
Seahorses Futsal Team and started training and playing in a Christian league. The Fehers are
also participating in a short term mission this fall in Hungary, the country of their origin. They
will relieve missionaries who work there permanently with Muslim refugees. The Lord is truly
blessing Csaba and Agnes with divine appointments everyday, for which they are thankful.

Charles is the co-founder and director of L.I.V.I.N.G. Ministry (Love Initiated Ventures
Investing in Neglected Groups), a Christian homeless ministry that uncovers the hope of
Jesus Christ. Liz serves the ministry in a variety of ways by providing organizational
structure, attending programmatic and fundraising events, and assisting in support raising.
Together, they live on the Pittsburghs Northside with their two children.

Update:
In 2017, the first Mobile Employment Center was created and helped 100% of program
participants get employed and 63% find permanent housing
Mens ministry took 15 of the homeless on a white water rafting trip
Womens ministry started a recovery program for women and new outreaches inside of a
new womens shelter
The ministry had 94 runners participate in the 2017 marathon and raised over $35,000
The ministry helped plan and host the first annual Finding Ways Home conference.
8 men were discipled by the ministry and grew in their faith

Jay and Candi are both full-time with Athletes in Action (AIA). Jay is beginning his 34th year
with AIA, and Candi, her 31st year. Jay is on the national campus team serving as the mid-
Atlantic regional director, giving leadership to the AIA campus staff who are growing where we
are (building movements locally) and going where we are not (reaching more campuses). We
travel throughout the region visiting staff and schools, host an annual winter retreat for
athletes around Philly, and help to mobilize athletes in going to South Africa where we have an
AIA partnership. We also serve as the local AIA directors at Robert Morris University, where the
mission is to build multiplying disciples who will be equipped to win people to Christ through
evangelism and to build them up in their faith through discipleship. The vision is that there
would be a Christ-follower on every team, in every sport, in every nation.

At RMU, Jay and Candi have a weekly AIA Nite, meet individually with athletes to equip them as
leaders, offer missions trips and retreats, and hosts socials in their home.

Goals as Mid-Atlantic Regional Director: Raise $15K in 2017-18 to

- Mobilize 15 staff and student-athletes to S. Africa with the goal of sending 3-5 short-term (1-2
years) missionaries who would be able to raise up South African national AIA staff
- Host Philly vision trips for our staff to raise up at least 2 staff who would move to Philly to
launch ministry on the campuses
- Launch 3 new campuses in the region this year; recruit 5 new AIA full-time staff or interns
- 45 athletes would be trained in 4 areas as newly equipped disciples
- Each local AIA ministry would reflect the ethnicity % of its athletic department

Seth has worked as an Urban Missionary with Urban Impact since 2006. He and his wife, Niki live on the
North Side with their children. They are passionate about reaching their community with the Good News
of Jesus Christ.

Goals for 2017

-Abiding in Jesus, maintaining intimacy with God my dad and living immersed in the presence of the Holy
Spirit.
-Communicating and demonstrating Jesus' love and seeing him unleash miracles of healing, deliverance
and salvation.
-Leading the team of 12 missionaries and over 200 volunteers God has raised up within the athletics
ministry to be disciples of Jesus who advance his love and hope to a lost a dying world.
-Making disciples as we equip volunteers and youth to engage in Bible studies and mentoring
relationships.
-Continuing to run six outreach basketball gyms, two basketball leagues, twelve basketball teams, 10 little
league baseball teams, two pony and colt baseball teams, two fall baseball teams, baseball clinics, two
seasons of intramural soccer, competitive soccer teams, swimming lessons, football clinic, football fest,
options, Bible studies, mentoring and special events. These programs enable us to reach over 1,200 youth
with the good news of Jesus Christ!

Prayer requests:
-Pray that I will be faithful to stay grounded in the Word of God every day.
-We desire to live out our priority to love God with all our heart, love each
other as husband and wife, to disciple our children and not exasperate
them, and to share the truth and love of Jesus with all the people the Holy
Spirit brings into our life.
-We need the body of Christ to pray for protection from the enemy. The
more effectiveness we see in ministry, the more attack we seem to
experience. Please pray Psalm 34:7 over our family, The angel of the LORD
encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.
-Jackson our son who had contracted Chronic Lyme Disease several years
ago. We are asking the Lord for a total healing of his neurological system
and for the Lyme disease to be eliminated.
-Our son JaiCeon has a number of medical issues and trauma to overcome.
Pray for him to be healed, to receive salvation and for Gods will to be
done in his future.
-The salvation of our youngest children: Tyson, Solomon and JaiCeon.
-Blake, the 21-year-old young man we have been mentoring since 4th grade
graduated from basic training with the Army National Guard. He served in
our day camp this summer and will be attending classes at CCAC this year.
Pray that he will continue to remain steadfast in his love for Jesus.
-Pray for a special covering over former students who have stepped up to
serve Jesus: Shaq Hager, Isaiah Reeves, Vince LeGrande, Asa Bray, Lloyd
Cleveland, Dom Waters, Blake Carpenter, Jordyn Cunningham, Tyrone
Townsend, Ray Townsend, Breland Brown, Venetia Khouri.
-We see the Spirit of God preparing many of our young people in middle
school and high school at Urban Impact to step up to serve the Lord. Pray
we would be faithful to provide opportunities for them to serve and proper
training to equip them to be effective in ministry.

 PARTNERSHIPS
Middle East
ACAC has developed a long term relationship with the National C&MA church in the Middle East. We have worked with the local
churches to develop a Bible Quizzing program that has now extended to multiple churches. ACAC has also provided support
for the church to extend relief and shelter to refugees from the internal and external warfare.

Cambodia
ACAC has a relatively new partnership with the C&MA field in Cambodia. The team is developing outreach to college students
and professors at universities in the capital city of Phnom Penh. Also the team is establishing connections through English as a
Second Language, leadership training, professional seminars in business and IT and several other exciting fields.

Spain
ACAC has partnered with Betsy Blanchard and Cinderellas House to support her in her mission to rescue girls out of sex slavery.
Betsy has a vision to open rescue houses not only in Spain, but elsewhere to save young women who have been kidnapped or
sold by families into prostitution. Some of these young girls are as young as 10 years old.

North/Central Asia
ACAC has taken the lead to a Christian Camp and Conference Center in partnership with an Evangelical denomination. This is
an exciting building project that will be used to win youth to Christ and to develop leaders in an area with less than 1% Christian
population. This project took 5 years to complete and now we have joined the pastors fromthe field to launch into another
country.

Paraguay
After a successful vision trip to Paraguay, a partnership began to grow. We are in the beginning stages
of development, but believe the partnership will include ministry teams going into the public schools to speak on pertinent
topics and share the gospel, holding sports camps and/or classes, and conducting professional seminars in areas such as ethics
in business, medicine, law, etc.

Gabon/Bongolo Hospital
Bongolo Hospital, founded in 1977, is a western-style, rural jungle hospital in southwestern Gabon, Africa. Approximately 350
miles south and east from the capital city of Libreville, Bongolo offers medical and surgical care to patients from all over Gabon
and the surrounding nations. The sprawling 158-bed facility treats approximately 40,000 patients per year. ACAC has come
along side the workers at the hospital to provide for their needs.

DEVELOPING PARTNERSHIPS
France Guadalajara
Since 2015 we have sent 4 teams to Paris to aid the C&MA and In 2016 pastor's from ACAC went on a vision trip to see the field
Envision. While there , the main goal is to build relationships in Mexico. They came back encouraged about the work being
with the locals. ACAC has invested in their community center, done there and this past summer we were able to send our first
Genesis people from all over Paris come to learn English, short-term team to aid in a church plant in the city. While there
