Directions: Welcome to WebQuest 2 for our A Long Walk to Water Unit!
You will be assigned a group and WebQuest for your Power Point presentations for this
week.
WebQuest C Water Crisis
Create a Power Point Presentation organizing and explaining the water crisis in Sudan.
For each slide, along with pictures and citations supporting your explanation, explain the
following, using your guidelines:

Guidelines:
1) Title Slide with your group members names and period.
2) A minimum of 1 slide per question:
a. What is the water crisis?
b. How many people in Africa do not have access to clean drinking water?

c. What are the dangers of unclean drinking water (i.e.: what diseases,
parasites, etc. can be contracted)?

d. Who is most at risk and why? Are their deaths from drinking unclean
water?

e. Explain the womens struggle related to water?

f. Explain what measures are being taken to combat this issue?

3) A final slide of the credits and website addresses that you used to help you create
your presentation
4) Images and graphics matching your ideas
