CONCEPT 1: Algebraic identities:


Algebraic Formulae:
1. (a + b) ² = a² + 2ab + b²
2. (a - b) ² = a² - 2ab + b²
2. a ² – b ² = (a + b) (a - b)

4. Sum of Odd numbers:

5. Sum of Even numbers:
2 + 4 + 6 + ………. + n = n² + n
6. L.C.M and H.C.F: Product of two numbers= Product of their L.C.M and H.C.F
7. Application of L.C.M
All will meet again in the starting point if the L.C.M of their time is taken.
The least number N when divided by x, y, z and leaving remainder K is,
N= L.C.M (x, y, z) + K
