We are pleased to inform you that Structural Design Institute has introduced a one-month
intensive training programme on Computer-aided Structural Design with PROKON.

Time : Four consecutive Saturdays (01.30 pm-04.30 pm)

About Prokon:
PROKON is developed and supported by a team of professional engineers and intended for
use by practicing structural engineers. The software provides quick and reliable answers
to everyday structural engineering problems. The first PROKON programs were developed
in 1989, and today PROKON is used worldwide in over 80 countries.

 Design of reinforced concrete beams – simply supported and continuous beams

Pre-requisite : A recognized Civil Engineering degree is an essential pre-requisite.
Recommended to bring a laptop computer with PROKON installed

Features of the Course:
 Course is designed for practicing Civil Engineers (to both Construction Engineers as
well as to Structural Design Engineers).
 Lectures shall be conducted by practicing structural design engineers.
 Printed notes shall be given to all participants.
 Small groups with individual attention.
 Participation certifications shall be awarded after successful completion of the course.
Limited seats available, reservation shall be on first come first serve basis.
