On behalf of the Founding Directors of the Stanford Center for Computational, Evolutionary and
Human Genomics (CEHG), we are thrilled to invite you to CEHG Symposium 2016, the annual
showcase of our member labs’ exciting research. This year, the meeting will be held February 29 to
March 1, 2016 at Paul Brest Hall on Stanford’s main campus.
My team is seeking partners and collecting merchandise for the event, and I am writing to request
your support. By becoming an event partner, you will gain a valuable opportunity to connect with
more than 200 attendees in addition to supporting the groundbreaking research of the faculty,
postdoctoral scholars, and graduate students of the CEHG community.
Founded in 2012 by Genetics professor and MacArthur Fellow Carlos D. Bustamante and Burnet C. and
Mildred Finley Wohlford Professor in the School of Humanities and Sciences Marcus Feldman, CEHG
promotes interdisciplinary research at the University with the aim of harnessing the vast potential of
genetics research to improve human well-being. As the home of 32 distinguished Stanford faculty
members and more than 200 postdoctoral scholars and graduate students, the Center serves as a
campus hub of discussion and innovation, bridging the School of Humanities and Sciences and the
School of Medicine. Over the past three years, CEHG researchers have conducted and published
influential studies in the fields of medicine, agriculture, conservation biology, anthropology, and
history, to name a few.
If you have any questions, please feel free to visit the Center’s website at cehg.stanford.edu or the
event website at cehg16.stanford.edu. You can also contact us at cehg-symposium@lists.stanford.edu
or +1.650.725.5067. We would love to tell you more about who we are and what we do. And if you are
ready to become a CEHG Symposium partner, please complete the attached Partnership Agreement
Form and follow submission instructions detailed on the form.
DATE
LOCATION
Stanford is home to more than 7,000 undergraduates, 9,000 graduate students, and 2,000 faculty
members. Often named one of the most beautiful universities in the country, the campus stretches
across 8,180-acres in sunny northern California.
CONFERENCE
Two hundred Bay Area researchers attended the event in each of the previous three years, and we
expect a similar turnout in February 2016. The meeting’s five sessions represent the wide array of
research being performed at the Center.
We invite you to review last year’s agenda, event report, and speaker videos at the following link:

The CEHG Symposium provides an invaluable opportunity to lend your expertise to some of the
brightest geneticists in the world. If you become an advertising partner, your brand will reach an
audience that has an immediate need for your services. As an exhibitor, you have the chance to meet
leaders in the field face to face and establish meaningful contacts. Finally, as a lunch partner, you will
have an opportunity to present a 25-minute talk directly to the CEHG community.
PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Submit partnership requests via email or fax to the Director of Programs at the following address:
Twenty-five percent of partnership fees are due immediately. The balance is due sixty days after initial
payment or February 1, 2016, whichever date is earlier. In the event that full payment has not been
received by February 1, 2016, CEHG reserves the right to cancel your partnership and remove your
information from all conference materials. Partnerships will be confirmed via a follow-up email that
includes Stanford payment information. A cancellation fee in the amount of $125 applies to all
cancellations after an initial partnership agreement has been reached. Cancellations should be submitted
in writing to cehg-symposium@lists.stanford.edu. All monies will be forfeited if cancellations are received
after February 1, 2016. Submission of payment indicates an agreement to abide by the payment
conditions and cancellation policy. Stanford reserves the right to use sponsorship funds at future annual
symposia.
