Dear Sirs,
Subject : Reservoir Fluid Study; Gas Condensate Well; our file RFLA 950001.
On the 25th November 1994 three separator oil, six separator gas and nine atmospheric samples were collected from the
subject well. These were delivered to our Aberdeen laboratory on the 30th November 1994 for PVT analyses. Validation
data for the samples were faxed to Good Oil Exploration and Production Company on 8th December 1994. Authorisation to
proceed with further analysis was confirmed by fax 14th December 1994. Core Laboratories (U.K.) Limited are pleased
to present the results of these analyses in the following report.
All pressurised fluid samples will remain at Core Laboratories (U.K.) Limited until otherwise instructed. All atmospheric
samples will remain at Core Laboratories (U.K.) Limited for a period of six months unless otherwise notified.
Core Laboratories (U.K.) Limited are very pleased to have been of service to Good Oil Exploration and Production
Company in this work. Should any questions arise concerning the data presented in this report, or if Core Laboratories
(U.K.) Limited may be of assistance in any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Yours sincerely,

Quality Checks
The saturation pressure of each separator liquid sample was determined at room temperature as a quality check.
The separator gas samples were heated to a temperature 20°F above separator temperature, agitated, and allowed to
stabilise. The opening pressure, air content and composition of each sample was then determined through heptanes plus.
Separator sample numbers 1.10 and 1.11 were selected for further analysis.
All pressurised liquid samples were heated to 200°F prior to sample removal to eliminate wax precipitation.
Liquid Compositions
Pressurised liquid compositions were determined using a flash separation technique. The liquid was flashed at 120°F to
obtain gas and liquid components. The gas was analysed using the extended analysis technique (see below) and the
liquid by temperature programmed chromatography. The t w o analyses were then combined mathematically to the flash
gas/liquid ratio.
Gas Compositions
Heptanes plus gas analysis was determined by routine gas chromatography. Extended gas analysis, to undecanes plus,
was determined by routine and extended chromatography. The extended chromatography was temperature programmed
to improve the detection and resolution of the heptanes plus components. The t w o analyses were then combined
mathematically.
A portion of the selected separator liquid sample was charged to a PVT cell at 2000 psig at 200°F. The temperature was
then reduced to the separator temperature of 137°F and the liquid expanded to the separator pressure of 324 psig to
measure the change in volume. The fluid was the then re-stabilised at 2000 psig and a portion flashed to standard
conditions to measure the shrinkage factor. The separator liquid shrinkage from separator conditions to stocktank
conditions was then calculated using the measured relative volume from the expansion test.
The measured compositions of the separator products were used, in conjunction with the corrected field gas and oil rates,
to calculate the wellstream composition.
The separator products were physically recombined into a high pressure cell. The composition of the recombined fluid
was then measured and agreed closely with the calculated wellstream composition.

This was carried out in a PVT long windowed cell. A portion of the recombined sample was charged to the cell and
thermally expanded to the reservoir temperature of 275°F. A constant composition expansion was performed, during
which the dew point pressure was observed. The retrograde liquid build up was also measured at several pressure
stages below saturation pressure.
The density and deviation factor Z were determined by pumping portions of the fluid under pressure from the cell at 8000
psig and reservoir temperature. These values were then calculated for the other pressures using the measured relative
volumes from the above expansion test.
This was performed on the same portion of sample following the constant composition expansion at reservoir temperature.
This consisted of a series of pressure expansions and constant pressure displacements to return the sample to a
constant volume. This volume was equal to the volume of sample at dew point pressure. This procedure was repeated
down to an abandonment pressure of 726 psig.
The composition of each displaced wellstream was determined through undecanes plus using cryogenic distillation and
gas/liquid chromatography techniques. The produced wellstreams were pumped from the PVT cell into a pre-weighed
flask submerged in liquid nitrogen and condensed. The condensed gas phase was then gradually allowed to return to
ambient temperature. The evolved gas and residual condensate were collected separately, weighed and then analysed.
These compositions were then recombined mathematically to the gas/liquid ratio at each pressure stage to determine the
produced wellstream compositions.
The deviation factor and the volume produced at each depletion pressure were determined from the cell volumetric data.
In addition, the retrograde liquid condensation at each depletion pressure was measured and expressed as a percentage
of the sample volume at dew point pressure.
The wellstream compositions were used in conjunction with the correlations of Lee, Gonzales and Eakin to calculate the
viscosity of the produced wellstreams at reservoir temperature.

Note:
In the foregoing compositions, GPSA mole weight and density data are used where individual components are identified, from
carbon dioxide through decanes. Katz and Firoozabadi data are used from undecanes through triacontanes.
The residue mole weight and density values ( eg heptanes plus, undecanes plus, eicosanes plus) are calculated so that the
calculated average mole weights and densities correspond with the measured values. This can lead to anomalous residue mole
weights and densities where the Katz and Firoozabadi values may not be suitable for the isomer groups detected.
