Overview:

A content provide platform via mobile operators of Bangladesh. Though this platform different
types of SMS based value added services will be provided to the targeted mobile user.

Initially there are 2 (two) types of service will be available in this platform. The service types are
Push-Pull based SMS and Subscription based SMS service. All services and contents will be
provided according to BTRC rules and regulations.

In order to complete understand the current scope of operations and future of this platform, I
would like to present here the detailed technical and financial aspects of this integrated platform
in the following segments –

1. New Short Code Allocation: Application for news short code to BTRC
2. Connectivity with Mobile Operator via Vendor: Getting connectivity with telco
through third party vendor
3. Hardware Installation: Setup hardware infrastructure and plugin with third party
vendor
4. Submit Service Proposal to Mobile Operator: Introducing short code and service
details with mobile operator.
5. Software Development for Push-Pull SMS: Deployment software for push-pull
SMS gateway system
6. Software Development for Subscription SMS: Development software for
subscription SMS gateway system
7. Service Control Panel: A web panel to control all services (add/edit/delete)
8. Cumulative Financial Offer: Total financial amount to deploy the platform
9. Technical Support: The scope of support
10. On Demand Changes: Description of the flexibility of the solution to accommodate

1. New Short Code Allocation
To allocate a new short code need to submit an application to BTRC with service details and
some relevant documents. After approving the application BTRC will give a license for an
available short code.

2. Connectivity with Mobile Operator Via Vendor


To establish physical connectivity with mobile operators, need to connect with third party
vendor (Telnet/ MetroNet /Other) as they have direct connectivity with operators.

To operate push-pull SMS transection (Receive & Submit) through mobile operator need to
develop a SMS gateway software for all mobile operators individually.

9. Technical Support

any kind of new features to the existing solution, within the given deadline set by jobsbd.com,
in a satisfactory manner. The SMS delivery platform should be a complete integrated tool for
the successful mobile VAS operations of jobsbd.com.
