Machine: HP 3 HP Compressor No 3
Component: Compressor
Problem: Oil pump problems and LP head imbalance/looseness.
Findings: Multiple harmonics at 11x input speed present on the input shaft non-drive side. Noise
floor lift in the high frequency range indicates bearing wear. Vibration in the high frequency
band (HFD) is high at 8.125 G-s.
High 1x running speed of the LP Head male screw present in the spectrums.
Action: Please supply oil pump information to ensure analysis that is more accurate. Arrange
meeting with the supplier to identify reason for high vibration on the LP male screw.
